Enjoyed a great brunch at @wheelersyard with @burpple #burpplebeyond! The beef bowl and fried squid were definitely the highlights of the meal. The fried squid was coated with a sticky, sweet and savoury sauce while still retaining a crunchy exterior. The beef was tender and the runny onsen egg made for a great sauce.

Beef was nice and tender; we ordered medium rare. Pasta wasn’t too overwhelming/heavy as some other chilli crab pastas are, so it was wonderful as well. We ordered this via the Burpple 1 for 1 - super good deal!

My friends and I ordered Fish and Chips, Mentaiko Pasta and Porky bowl. The mentaiko pasta was rated the poorest, you could hardly taste the mentaiko. It was milky and fishy which reminded me of fish bee hoon soup (the kind you’ll find in hawker centre)

The porky bowl was the tastiest of the three. If you’re there with friends, I’d recommend you take that as a safe choice. We used a 1-for-1 for this.
