One of the best Teochew Porridge places in Singapore located along Serangoon Road. Small corner lot Kopitiam with only a few tables, you need to get a place to seat before you queue up to order your favourite dishes.
Especially recommend their otah, salted vegetables and sotong. The otah has huge chunks of fish meat in it and not too spicy. Salted vegetables does not have the usual sweetness you find in other places. Sotong is fresh and crunchy.
This place is a bit pricey compared with others and parking is a problem.
This time I ordered their fish cake, Hae Bee Hiam, braised pork belly, egg plant and tofu.
Comfort food, taste is quite yummy. Only today the braised pork not tender.
I love their garlic chilli sauce π.
$17.4 for all.

Located along Serangoon Road, is this hidden coffee shop that serves an array of excellent side dishes for your teochew mui.
The braised pork was fatty and meat was soft. The Hae bi Hiam portion was generous and tasted very good as well.
Also excellent was the minced pork.
Really enjoyed my lunch here, will definitely return to try their other dishes like the braised duck and otah.
All the food here looks very good. U could easily overspend here.
A true mark of a Teochew master is in their braise. This said a lot about this Teochew porridge, which is opened by the man behind Soon Soon near my house.
A surprisingly good Teochew porridge, considering I'm not a fan of Teochew porridge in general.
