Got the Big Prawn Noodles, dry with beehoon and kway teow.

For the dry version they will toss the noodles in a chili oil sauce which was not bad but I do wish that it was more fragrant and savoury.

The soup was really good. Savoury and sweet with a strong prawn flavour. Prawns were fresh and of a good size.

Overall a really good bowl of prawn soup with prawns. Worth eating.

They got this chili oil thing which has a bit of spice but much more oil. It's unique and it's alright but the huge amounts of oil turns me off, nor was it particularly tasty. Kway Teow had a good bouncy texture tho

The prawns were big and it's got a nice sweetness. Pork ribs were tender but I thought what stunned from this bowl were the pigtail. It's full of umami, extremely tender and it's huge.

Broth was also pretty decent, it's the savoury salty kind.

Overall it's pretty good but there's no need to travel all the way here for this

Succulent juicy fresh prawns. The noodles was well mixed with the chili sauce although it gets abit too oily. Quite nice!

(S$8)

PRICE: $4.50

WAITING TIME: 4 min on a weekday lunchtime
(Beeper provided so need not stand in queue)

PRAWNS: 2

SOUP:

NOODLES TYPE: Many to choose from. Their thin beehoon is unlike the usual thin beehoon. Very nice!

REMARKS:
- Soup is nice but the amount is not a lot
- lots of fried shallots in the noodles, yaaaay

WILL I ORDER AGAIN? YES.

Do I prefer this to its strongest competitor (Albert Street Prawn Noodles) in the adjacent row? I don't know yet. Prices there begin from $5.50 though.

Prawn Mee Soup (~$5) was warm and comforting, with 3 huuge juicy and fresh prawns inside 🦐🤩 Meat came out from the shell easily which made eating it so much easier tbh 🤪
.
However the prawn broth was pretty anticlimactic ☹️ Expected the broth to be much thicker and have more of a shrimp ‘taste’ but it was Super thin :-( Overall able to get better Prawn Mees out there :<

Ig @goodfomood

The prawn is big and fresh.

The soup is a little bland

The chilli in the beehoon is also quite bland, feels like missing some fried lard
