From the Burpple community

leg ham, guinness & maple slab bacon, cumberland sausage, turkey croquette, cranberry sauce, sweet potato hash, sautéed mushrooms with scrambled eggs

Caramel brownie topped with pomegranate, nuts and edible flowers. The ice cream was a perfect match with the brownie.

First time visiting Wild Honey and tried this seasonal menu (I forgot the exact name) The best part of the dish in my opinion are the croquet and the ham. As for the rest are so so, not really spectacular.

Love the atmosphere, setting, ambience, comfy couches & yummy food 😋 😍
Classic Steak Frites ($36) - addictive paprika fries & sliced 200g grain fed onglet for ease of enjoyment
Plant Based Eden Burger ($28) - Impossible burger with the texture of meat but the taste was slightly lacking to me though the avocado serving was generous
Herb & Seed Tabouleh Salad ($22) - totally love the refreshing taste of parsley, coriander but the sunflower seeds did a massive ‘workout’ on our jaws from those chewing & biting 😂
Brazilian Bread ($6) - must enjoy this goodness while it was still warm & cheesey
Banoffee Brûlée ($12) - great combi of banana, milk, caramel & honey. Slightly sweet & would be ideal without the flamed meringue
Princess Smoothie ($15) - definitely not for me - never a fan of all those berries, chia seeds & cinnamon
Green Envy ($12) - yes I do love the celery, cucumber, lemon, spinach & green apple but not the mint & the ginger was too overpowering

🤔: Steak was tender, wouldn't say it was melt-in-my-mouth tender, but good enough to make me reach for more. Love the herb butter which gave it an aromatic touch. Got the spiced fries and it was okay, albeit a tad too salty.

Bestie bought the $100 chope voucher cause we overestimated ourselves and thought we could finish $100 worth of food by ourselves HAHAHAH we ordered the Tunisian and European (and 2 desserts)!!

First time tryina shakshouka and it was overwhelming!! It was the right amount of spiciness and what could go wrong with eggs poached in tomato sauce and chorizo?? Le bestie had a hard time eating it gracefully as the tomato sauce dripped of the flatbread onto her hand and by the time she was finished, it looked like a crime scene HAHAH

As for my dish, the perfectly poached eggs were wrapped with Italian prosciutto and blanketed with a layer of hollandaise sauce which I couldn’t get enough of! I felt really guilty cutting into the poached eggs as if I were destroying an art piece😢 it got increasingly messy as the egg yolk oozed over the brioche and everywhere else on the plate ((that’s how you tell that they nailed their poached eggs))

Overall, wild honey took it to the next level and this meal exceeded what I had in mind! The interior was rly pretty and cosy as well! They dimmed the lights to achieve that ambience so my bestie and I had to be thick skinned and take photos of the food w flash heheh Lastly, kudos to the amazing crew who were super friendly and helpful which made our experience there rly wonderful☺️

Thanks bestie for the amazing food & company!! Love you loads💖😚💖
