Second Time at Wing Seong Fatty's Restaurant! (and my other Mother's Day Celebration over the weekend!)

This time round we tried to order different items to try more variety!
-Pork Spare Ribs (M) [$25++]
-Chicken in Claypot (S) [S$15++]
-Fried Egg with Minced Meat [$9++]
-Braised Beancurd (S) [$15++]
-Cereal Prawns (S) [$22++]
-Fried Rice with Seafood (M) [$11++]
-Hor Fun with Seafood (M) [$11++]
-Sambal Kang Kong (S) [$10++]
-Lime Juice [$2.50++]

The first time when we dined here the food was kinda salty? But it might be because of the items we ordered (e.g. salted egg prawns). This time round, the saltyness level was alright and with have no issues with it. The only thing was that the Cereal Prawns was quite a letdown! There were only 5 prawns for the small portion! But we we warned by the service staff when ordering. But I did not really like the cereal oatmeal! They added coconut to the oatmeal, instead of the usual sugar and chilli padi spices, so something was missing! The cereal oatmeal was not as addictive as I expected.

But overall, still a good place to visit for reunion meals! The bill amounted to about $140 for 6 pax. Be sure to call ahead to make your reservations, especially if you want the indoor aircon seats! Baby chairs are provided here too!

Cantonese style cuisine @WingSeongFattys Restaurant!

Have walked past this restaurant many years ago and was wow-ed by the huge amount of crowd! Fast forward many years later, I am finally here to pay this place a visit!

Featured are the following items:
-Seafood Hor Fan
-Fried Prawn with Salted Egg
-Chicken in Claypot
-Sweet and sour pork
-Braised Beancurd
-Fried Foo Yong Eggs

Overall the meal was quite tasty and affordable! Though the food may get slightly salty, so best to get plain rice to accompany the dishes!

Check them out at 175 Bencoolen Street, Burlington Square # 01-31, S189649. They have both aircon and outdoor seats! Do make a reservation for indoor air con seats to avoid disappointment!

Had a nice lunch here today thanks to my friend's recommendation. This restaurant has been here for ages and I only just found out. This is comfort food on a cool rainy day. Seafood Sheng Mian - $5.20+

D n I were feeling adventurous today and tried walking around to find interesting eateries. The restaurant was packed with people and we thought the food may be good. Turns out to be a disappointment as the food was way too oily. Not likely to come back again. Dishes ordered were Indonesian Chicken in Claypot (S$12) , Fried Dou Miaw (S$ 8) , Fried Rice with Shrimps (S$ 6 ) and SG Fried Beehoon (S$ 5.20 ). Total bill inclusive GST was S$ 33.40. #cheatweekends #burpplesg #burpple

Alongside the blackpepper and chilli crabs, there is also the grouper with bittergourds in blackbean sauce. Not to mention doumiao, fried spring rolls, fried rice and vermicelli for dinner. And plenty of catching up and laughters. The singapore style, i must stress. Hearty!
