I love the egg fried rice from Wok Hey. We usually either get it with prawns or shimeiji mushrooms.
We added chicken sausage from Ikea and drizzled some kecap manis on top! 😊

Pretty good but avoid peak hours as they do not really fry it thoroughly. Shall try other outlets.

Even better if the fried rice inside tastes so good! Featured in the background is the Shanghai fried rice with braised beef and a nicely done sous vide egg. In front, we have the seafood friedrice with prawn, with added ebiko. Both tasted GOOD with that much desired "wok-hey" taste. ($16.10 for both)

A takeaway zi-char concept that’s usually located in a shopping mall for convienence. While the food doesn’t have the wok-hei but they are decently good (not oily) and affordable. The basic ramen cost $6 and top-up $1.80 for about 6 prawns which I think was worth it.

Never judge the portion by it’s packaging. We were doubting if it’s worth the price when the packaging looks small but the portion turned out to be too heavy for weekdays lunch. I’ll fall into a food coma if I finished them all. It gets jelat after a while and if you have a buddy to share, I'll recommend to get one noodle and rice to share.

Wok Hey serves 4 basic dishes - Egg Fried Rice, Shanghai Fried Rice, Fresh Ramen and Fresh Udon with protein toppings such as grilled chicken, braised beef and seasoned prawns.

Other $1 add-on toppings such as tobiko, sous vide egg, Chinese sausage (lup cheong), broccoli, baby spinach, brussels sprouts, edamame, capsicum, asparagus, nai bai, shimeiji and white mushroom are available too.
