A modern twist on a local classic, the dry laksa series from WOK HEY is back with a more flavourful and satisfying recipe ๐Ÿฅณ

Celebrate Singaporeโ€™s 58th National Day with these popular Dry Laksa and Laksa Fried Rice dishes ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Topped with a generous amount of blue swimmer crabmeat, we tried the laksa fried rice that comes with luscious ramen egg ๐Ÿณ

For those who prefer noodles, try the dry laksa variation complete with taupok (beancurd puff). Donโ€™t forget to include the sambal for a more flavourful rendition ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The laksa series starts from $7.50. Apart from the usual chicken/beef/prawn toppings, you can also choose to upgrade with seasonal add-ons like succulent wild-caught crab meat and ramen egg.

Ckn was 70g per portion, so pretty worth i think for 2bucks per portion

Chinese sausage as quite a lot of bite and was abit bigger than what i liked, it's alright but not particularly recommended

Fortunately or unfortunately, wok hey is not consistent between branches.

Imm's is still godly, the flavours are so well rounded, each grain is good, and portion is generous. Jem's is like a cheap knock-off, except that it really is the same chain.

Just goes to show that wok fried food is really skill based

My virgin attempt doing the udon at Wok Hey where there are outlets blossoming all over Singapore. I have to say the Chilli does pack a punch and it resembles LaoGanMa with all that Chilli bits, really flavourful. This takeaway box resembles the Chinese takeaways that are pretty popular in the West so I have to say itโ€™s pretty interesting since we donโ€™t see this that much in Singapore.

Pretty good. Everything same as normal fried rice except theres a sauce now. Shanghainese tend to lean towards sweeter taste profiles but theirs was mostly salty. Not sure if it qualifies as shanghainese but it's worth a try(if slightly on the pricey side)

Quite sweet and there's sufficient wok hey. The ingredients were all quite good, really satisfying stuff. Udon texture could have been a tad better. Their chili sucks though, on its own it lacks any flavour and fragrance, there's the mildest of tang. But mixed in it's barely passable
