Pretty good. Everything same as normal fried rice except theres a sauce now. Shanghainese tend to lean towards sweeter taste profiles but theirs was mostly salty. Not sure if it qualifies as shanghainese but it's worth a try(if slightly on the pricey side)

Quite sweet and there's sufficient wok hey. The ingredients were all quite good, really satisfying stuff. Udon texture could have been a tad better. Their chili sucks though, on its own it lacks any flavour and fragrance, there's the mildest of tang. But mixed in it's barely passable

I've heard good things about wok hey and honestly I didn't believe it, esp when I was watching them make it. Somehow, this turned out really good considering the price

The egg fried rice itself was pretty on point, nice chewy grains and there's a little bit of wok hey. Very nostalgic taste and it's just oily enough to be tasty but not unhealthy. One problem is the salt because the dude didn't bother seasoning it evenly, he just threw in a spoonful. Which lead to uneven seasoning(pretty sure that's just an individual thing, I would be surprised if that's company SOP)

Ckn and beef were both v well executed, braised beef was tender which was v unexpected idk why lol. Generous portions of meat too. This is one cup UNCLE ROGER would approve

PS I can see why this chain is successful. There's a lot of attention to detail, from the single spoon which makes it easy to eat to the design of the cup, w the rounded bottom which allows all the rice to be scooped up. So many of these things are so intuitive when it's done right but there are some places which don't put in effort into these aspects. If the same amount of effort is put into every aspect of this chain, it's really not hard to see why they're successful.

Even though they're just a stall, it's good enough to be considered a restaurant imo(which is why they're going into this list)

Taste is consistent amongst different outlets
