I had but the vaguest idea what a blondie was. Apparently it's a brownie but with the chocolate replaced with a vanilla flavoring and utilizing brown sugar instead.

And this delightful dessert ($5.50) worked so well. The mild vanilla flavor made the bittersweet chocolate chips swirled into the mix so much more pronounced and didn't allow the chocolate to overpower the mix or make the dessert too sickly sweet.

The texture of the blondie itself is beautiful, just barely crumbling apart and the chocolate chips just perfectly melted. And the walnuts added a delightfully crunch.

This smelt really good esp because of the rosemary! The bread was chewy & tangy; the filling (potatoes w onions and sesame seeds) was soft and tasty. Yumz!!

This is one seriously kickass sourdough roll. ($3) Sourdough is honestly my favorite type of bread because of those tangy, earthy, complex flavors.

This version is studded with some seeds and nuts, with a crispy crusty exterior and an absolutely delicious sourish tang and air-filled, spongy texture inside. I opted to have it warmed and when you crunch into the warm roll it tastes absolutely magical, a gorgeous medley of texture and flavor.

I had a cup of cold brew ($5) to pair with the coffee. The beans are sourced from Cata coffee and while it is a small serving, the light playful fruity notes go very well with the bread.

One of the best artisanal bakeries; they closed for a while (replaced by the equally great Micro Bakery) until they reopened at Upp Thomson recently.

While my favourite nut toast is not on the menu (yet, hopefully) their bakes are as good as ever. The dense and moist texture of the ๐—–๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฎ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ($5.50) was delightful, whilst the richness of chocolate harmonised with a sprightly prune sweetness.

The cold drip (only $5) was also extremely palatable with its clean and fruity profile.

Truly regretted not visiting this place earlier! In the end we only made in on the last day (before the main Bakers left) and for one of their last offerings. Was initially sceptical as this was a simple vegetarian pizza with only onions and cheese. But it turned out delicious! The sourdough bread really stood out.

Spelt carrot walnuts currants & olive oil tea cake $5

So generous with the ingredients!! Every mouthful is filled with shredded carrot, raisins & chopped walnut. Not too sweet and moist enough ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‹

Walnut chocolate blondie $5

The chocolate is so so so rich! ๐Ÿซ Very fudgy but way too sweet for my liking
