Really found a gem at Changi Village. This Sliced Fish & Lala Bee Hoon ($5) is probably one of the best seafood bee hoon I've had because of so many factors!

From the fresh, succulent and thick fish slices, to the charring of the bee hoon and ingredients to a amazingly robust seafood broth, it had it all. Each mouthful of the bee hoon and soup just shouts flavour, due to the huge amount of umami and smokey flavour. Love the fresh crispy pork lard as well!

The portion came pretty big too! Really extremely worth it and I can't wait to come back to have another plate of this!

One of the popular stall at the hawker centre, which you usually find people getting the big portion for sharing.

I would say it is already generous even for individual portion. Comes with few pieces of crayfish, you would get the enjoy the meat from each of the pieces.

The broth is super tasty and I can’t stop drinking it.

Their most signature item, comes w crayfish, prawns, fish, lala.

Feeds 3 comfortably despite the immense looking plate, because it's flat at the bottom and there's quite some shells

The broth is the muddy savoury kind(not in a bad way, but it's not the clear clean kind), the seafood was quickly tossed at very high temp so there's wok hei. The beehoon wasn't cooked in the broth, broth is just poured over so it doesn't absorb the flavours perfectly, tho well enough. Prawn was meaty and seafood was fresh, lala was average in freshness.

Overall it tastes quite like what you expect, the execution is good. Worth a try if you're in the area

Ordered via delivery.

Seafood is definitely fresh.

The soup is filled with the aroma of fresh crayfish, lala clams and prawns topped with 2 small packets of fried crispy pork lard! Beehoon portion is very generous for 2 pax and we were stuffed to the max! Highly recommended! Damage is $27 plus $4 delivery fee 😊

Travelling to Changi Village Food Centre makes me feel like I’m travelling to the ends of the world, but I might have found a reason to repeat this again❤️ The Seafood Platter from Woon Woon Pek Beehoon drew many curious stares when we ordered it - the ginormous bowl of beehoon absorbs the essence of the sweet seafood broth that is packed to the brim with crayfish, prawns, flower crab, sliced fish, cabbage and lard cubes. The seafood is very fresh and the crayfish is quite meaty. The large portion can feed 6 pax easily, which is a serious steal at $35 ($5.80/pax😱). Needless to say, we polished it down to the very last sip👍🏻
