Seafood is definitely fresh.

The soup is filled with the aroma of fresh crayfish, lala clams and prawns topped with 2 small packets of fried crispy pork lard! Beehoon portion is very generous for 2 pax and we were stuffed to the max! Highly recommended! Damage is $27 plus $4 delivery fee 😊

Travelling to Changi Village Food Centre makes me feel like I’m travelling to the ends of the world, but I might have found a reason to repeat this again❤️ The Seafood Platter from Woon Woon Pek Beehoon drew many curious stares when we ordered it - the ginormous bowl of beehoon absorbs the essence of the sweet seafood broth that is packed to the brim with crayfish, prawns, flower crab, sliced fish, cabbage and lard cubes. The seafood is very fresh and the crayfish is quite meaty. The large portion can feed 6 pax easily, which is a serious steal at $35 ($5.80/pax😱). Needless to say, we polished it down to the very last sip👍🏻

For just $5, you’ll get a huge plate of white beehoon cooked in a rich stock with additional sweetness coming from the white cabbage, clams and sliced fish. This is not your typical white beehoon, which normally has an egg beaten into it, as this is more of a watery broth that’s not too saucy. Don’t be fooled by its bland appearance as this is packed with flavours. Topped it all up with some fried pork lard for that additional crunch and umami-ness.

Rice vermicelli slicked with rich seafood gravy that just bursts with umami. Settle for other less expensive seafood choices because the star here is clearly the broth.

Tried the one without any fancy seafood (they have crayfish and lobster which really jacks up the price). For $8 you get a really big portion (good for 3-4) with huge slices of fish. Very value for money. Skip the splurge on seafood and just zoom in on this item.
