Got to say we were pretty impressed, especially since it was a food delivery and we didn’t tuck in immediately! Had the Lemongrass Pork Ribs 香茅排骨 ($18.80/$28.80), Stone Pot Wine Lala 石锅黄酒啦啦 ($18.80/$28.80) and Xin Long Xing Prawn Cake 新龙兴虾饼 ($15.80) - our preferred picks are the first two!

Thank you @xinlongxingsg for this! 🙆🏻‍♀️

Crispy exterior with pieces of prawns sandwiched in between! Cause it’s fried, it didn’t do too well after delivery, but it’s probably an easy dish to like if you have it fresh at their stall. Would have liked more prawns though.

Thank you @xinlongxing for this! 🙆🏻‍♀️

This was our favorite among the three dishes we had! Although some clams were a little sandy, there was a generous portion of it in a herbal broth with black fungus and goji berries. The light broth was comforting and not overly sweet, with hints of savouriness from the clams.

The lemongrass part wasn’t that distinct, but other than that we really liked this! The well-marinated meaty pork ribs were covered in an addictive sweet glaze and had a good bite without being tough.

Thank you @xinlongxingsg for this! 🙆🏻‍♀️

Filled with generous portion of lala clams, black fungus, wolfberries, this stonepot wine lala is bound to leave you drunk(in a sea of bliss😌) over its aromatic wine-infused broth! The broth is light albeit flavourful and a comforting, homely one that leaves me intoxicated with love 💕. The lala were also fresh with a slight chewy mouthfeel. What’s more, there’s also a convenient option of opting for a delivery service to enjoy authentic seafood and tze char dishes from Xin Long Xing at the comfort of your own home. Of course, it would not be served in the stonepot for delivery but flavourwise, it was not compromised and I can assure that since I have tried it both ways! ✌🏻 .

Chicken Rice Delux Set ($7.20)
.
@XinLongXing is apparently a chicken rice shop as stated on the front of their menu. I order the Deluxe Single Set since it came with a side portion of bean sprouts and chinese radish soup. Seems pretty worth the price for the entire set. The plate of chicken rice even came with an additional piece of fried fish ball (?) as an extra side. I would strongly recommend opting for the other dishes as the chicken rice definitely lagged behind in flavour and tasted ordinary. I was pretty disappointed when my plate of chicken breast was served without any of the chicken skin (not that I would consume all of it). I couldn’t even tell whether my chicken was roasted or the hainanese white version. Rice also tasted rather bland.
