The hype of Dalgona has hit Xing Fu Tang! Get their limited edition Rose Dalgona at $0.55 with any order of Dalgona Series till 16 August 2020.
Xin Fu Tang is known for its brown sugar pearls, so we went for the Brown Sugar Pearls Dalgona Coffee with Milk ($5.90). Whipped to a creamy coffee foam, the bittersweet coffee blended well with the brown sugar pearls and fresh milk. It was however, too sweet for my liking. The first few sips were fine and the flavor was full bodied. But as I mixed the drink more evenly, my palate started rejecting its sweetness and despite waiting for the ice to melt, it was still too sweet. In the end I added more milk and water to dilute it out. Not for me, but definitely would satisfy a sweet tooth who also loves coffee!
The Rose Dalgona ($0.55) on the other hand was much more refreshing. Lovely colors on the Rose Dalgona with a smooth pink rose cream and fresh milk. We added on pink pearls ($1), which were super chewy. The drink itself was a nice twist to our typical Bandung, worth a try!
