Despite moving away from the location of this stall, I can't resist from returning for this particular dish even though the ride cost me more than $20 one way. Go figure.
Price has almost doubled since the days when I first started having this dish but there's no stopping me to return for this Green Chilli Chicken Rice. Item no. 1 on the menu for a good reason.

Guess what? They have been offering Thai-Chinese cuisine since 2001 in Woodlands!

Absolutely love their food here, as well as their chilli which elevates the flavour profile. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed😉👍

For those who study at Republic Polytechnic probably familiar with this hidden Thai food stall opposite the campus.

A popular Thai food stall have have been going around Woodlands neighbourhood, before settling down here in this coffee shop under HDB.

For something worth sweating on, you definitely must try their fried chilli chicken rice with egg.

I don't usually eat in Woodlands, and I guess this is the reason why I hadn't tried them until now. Appearing in a list of places you should eat at Woodlands for a budget under $10 by Miss Tam Chiak, this stall is also a favourite amongst Woodlanders staying nearby; remembered one of my secondary school classmates raving about it during my secondary school days when they were still at Woodlands North Plaza (they have moved a couple of times within Woodlands; the signage for their Blk 19 Marsiling Lane stall still remains despite the latest move). Amongst all the dishes, this is their signature; stir-fried chicken in chili and sauce served with a sunny side up. That piquant chili is insanely spicy for a simple dish like this, so much so that the savoury flavours of the sauce goes away fairly quickly being masked by that numbing spiciness that adds on when you bite on the potent chili padi and makes you sweat even having it on a rainy day armed with Kopi Beng. All that, with a perfect sunny side up which flows with a poke of the fork.

Definitely a hidden gem. Affordable. Tasty.
