Ya Kun Kaya Toast (Junction 8)

i know i’m late to the game but i finally got around to trying this! i would have expected this to taste overly sweet, except that it wasn’t. the amount of sugar inside this was perfect and the coffee had zero bitterness to it, so a non-coffee drinker like me would definitely be able to down this. i’m also one who loves soya milk, but those who don’t, might find that a bit off putting. ⁣

all in all, those who love their lattes should totally try this. black coffee drinkers might still prefer their regular old coffee 😂⁣

Nothing quite beats having @yakunkayatoastsg for breakfast! ❤ This is definitely hitting the right spot with the crusty grilled toasts slathered with a generous amount of savoury butter & housemade kaya (coconut jam)! 💚💚💚 Full of eggy & pandan fragrance, & more importantly, not overly sweet, their kaya is my family’s favourite! 😋 It’s so good that my mum would purchase the jar for our own consumption at home! ✌🏻

Slurping up the two perfectly runny soft-boiled eggs drizzled with dark sauce & a dash of pepper is always an enjoyment 😋😋😋, or using it as a dip for the toasts.

Paired with an aromatic cup of freshly brewed coffee ☕ ($4.80 for this set), now that is what I call a perfect Singaporean breakfast! 💯

Simple yet very satisfying traditional breakfast. Toast was crispy and warm. Eggs were perfectly cooked. And the coffee was strong enough to perk me up!
