I find myself ordering this so often at Yakun, as a dessert after my meal or as an afternoon snack. It's strangely comforting. Crumbly buttery soda biscuits that sandwich thick cold slabs of butter and housemade yakun kaya (a uniquely Singapore spread made from eggs, coconut milk and pandan leaves). It's like an old man's snack but I'm sure younger people like us would love this too :p
