Without having to fly to the Land of Smiles🇹🇭, you can enjoy a range of authentic street-style Thai dishes that complement well with their Signature Thai Kway Chap, here at @yaowaratthaikwaychap. Operating at the popular late-night spots - Upper Serangoon & Holland Village, their 3rd outlet at Tampines West will be coming soon to satisfy your cravings😌!

👉Signature Thai Kway Chap - SGD5
👉Deep-Fried Thai Pork Belly - SGD6
👉Thai Mid-Wings - SGD6
👉Braised Tau Pok - SGD2
👉Iced Thai Milk Tea - SGD3

Comes with a myriad of ingredients that include curled up rolls of Kway, fried pork belly, lean pork meat, pig offals and fish sausages, this comforting bowl of kway chap definitely did not disappoint. Unlike the usual soy sauce-based broth, the broth served here was clear, light and peppery, reminiscent of Bak Kut Teh soup. Make sure you order their fried chicken wings and braised tau pok too😋!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This unit has seen a few change of vendors probably due to the fengshui but I hope this stall is here to stay. First time trying thai kway chap and it was a good change from the usual green curry and tom yum I had. The side dishes such as the pork belly is a must try. Even their barley water was thick and good. What else can I say go try it yourself friends

The kuaychap is very different from the Chinese version, it’s rolled up - giving a unique texture. However the soup was not flavorful, might go back again for the side dishes. The pork belly was crispy and fragrant!

Thai Kway Chup ($5)
.
Super late to the party @yaowaratthaikwaychap but really enjoyed my meal here. Although the taste still falls short of my favourite roadside stall in BKK, this is a good version no less. Think peppery soup, sweet thai sausages, crispy pork belly and a generous dose of sliced pork cooked to perfection served with rolled kway. Add a dash of the chilli flakes to give a bigger kick! Also worth ordering are the fried intestines ($8) and the stirfried cabbage($5).

Everyone probably considers this place for their Thai Kway Chap with the good broth and fun little rolls of noodles. My go to dishes are the Deep-Fried Pork Belly and Thai Stir-Fried Cabbage. Sometimes I even dream of these sides in my day. Whatever staple you decide to get (noodles with or without the meat), you MUST try the pork for it’s crunch and the cabbage for it’s wok hey taste.

PRICE: $5 for the signature bowl. $2 for canned drink (😮)
No GST and service charge, yay

WAITING TIME: We were the only customers on a weekday at 4.15pm so the food came really fast.

REMARKS:
- We decided to have 2 x plain kway chap and 1 plate of pork belly next time, instead of 2 Signature bowls. Cos the pork belly is really good compared to the meat and intestines.
- I don't like the sausage cos there are very fine hard bits that I couldnt bite through.

WILL WE RETURN? Yes if we are in the area. But will not make a deliberate trip here just for this.
