Recommended by my friend and it’s so underrated!!! TBH, It’s so much better than Ah Chew.

🍴& 💵:
金玉满堂 🤩 ($4.50) - Ice jelly with soursop and passionfruit. Super refreshing because of the aiyu jelly. And I like it when a sweet dessert is complemented with the sourness from the ingredients.

芒果雪山 🤩 ($4.50) - Fresh mangoes on ice with mango popping pearls. This is my favourite among these desserts. I like how the ice is not plain white ice. There was milk and mango taste. Every mouth was super nice and milky! I like how the popping pearls added the fun to this dessert but they were pretty sweet. And the mangoes if eaten just by itself, it’s pretty sour (but I like). Although the mango was sour, the fruit itself was still soft, so it was actually ripened already.

清汤 🙆🏻‍♀️ ($3.20) - Cheng Tng with barley, white fungus, longan and a tiny bit of dried persimmon (I guess) super strong Logan taste but gets a bit bland and tastes like sugar water afterwards. I like how they added dried persimmon because usually won’t see it in chengtng but sadly there wasn’t a lot.

Note: My friend said the chendol is good too!
Gotta come back to try their hot desserts too!

Rating 4.5/5!!!
“Definitely serves good cold Chinese desserts!”

More variety. Standard still 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻
Fresh mango 5/5
Very refreshing on a hot day 😋

No kidding, this might be one of the best Chendol I had in 🇸🇬. Will surely be back here again to try other traditional handmade desserts and snacks!

P.S. It’s priced at SGD3.20 (+SGD1.60 for durian flesh)

💸 Black Sesame paste: $3.50
💸 Walnut paste: $4
Another round of traditional chinese desserts today👏! We love traditional chinese pastes and honestly, its hard to find places that do it well. Some end up too starchy, while others lack flavour. But we love the ones at yatkayan🥣! We got the sesame paste and walnut paste (our go-to) and they were smooth and tasted natural, unlike those factory made kind😂 Really appreciate all the effort that went into making these! ☺️

$4+ ~ Felt the portion is rather small but boss say it is due to the rising cost. Anyways the Black sesame paste is a must try!

💸 Yammy chendol: $5.50
💸 Almond & beancurd barley: $3.50
Yet another gem💎 tucked away in fortune centre, we always head to yatkayan for dessert after eating at A9, it's almost like a routine now! Had their famed chendol with orh nee which was really the best of both worlds👯. The orh nee paste was savoury and super smooth, which went well with the sweet and refreshing chendol🍧. The only downside was that the chendol melts super fast we couldn't slowly take our time to enjoy. Also ordered the almond and beancurd barley, a dessert we had often when we were young☺️. Apart from these, do give their homemade pastes a try as well! Overall, really recommend yatkayan for it's homely ambience and quality desserts✌️
