I wasnโ€™t sure whether I would like it, so I just ordered one and the waiter replied โ€œwhAt?? jUst ONE?!โ€๐Ÿ’€ Like I totally get his dismay coz now Iโ€™m upset that they ran out before I could get a second serving๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I didnโ€™t enjoy the Shiso Leaf Mikomono ($3.50) as much as it sat on the grill too long

Finally tried these famed skewers after a month's long waitlist ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Skewers range from $2.50 onwards and there are also quite a selection of tasty mains and bar bites.

๐Ÿ” Chicken tail skewer ($2.50)
๐Ÿ— Chicken thigh skewer ($2.50)
๐Ÿ” Chicken tail skewer (again)
๐Ÿข Chicken gizzard skewer ($2.50)

While they were all tasty, my favourite has to be the Also known as bonjiri, this is made with one of the most succulent part of chicken and the juicy skewer is a hit at this izakaya! And I don't even like chicken tail normally!!

Definitely check out the crispy ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ) too. Was taken aback by the unassuming spring onion skewer (wrapped in pork belly)!

Apart from the variety of skewers that we ordered, we also tried some mains and snacks. Ordered the deep fried octopus ($10) to share. This came with lemon and mayo sauce. Quick bar bite for us to munch on as we waited for our skewers to arrive ๐Ÿ™

We also got the chicken soup noodle ($9). Stole a mouth of the chicken soup and quite liked it too! Unctuous broth that would certainly be comforting on a rainy evening ๐Ÿœ

(Not pictured) Another main that we had was the oyakodon ($12.80). Beautiful egg yolk that lies on a bed of more eggs and chicken chunks. Received high praises from my friend who had this!
