This features their award-winning changfen / chee cheong fun / steamed rice rolls, silky smooth with grainy sweet flavour, served in a light soy sauce with salty savoury flavour.
.
Layered with egg and crisp spinach, then stuffed with bouncy deshelled shrimp, this has beautiful eggy vegetal sweet savoury flavour to the rolls. Delicious and satisfying.

The large pieces of chunky chicken chop are tender and juicy, without being oily.
.
The seasoning of salt, Chinese 5-spice, white pepper, and sour plum powder combine with the natural flavours of the chicken meat, resulting in a yummy savoury spice salty sour sweet flavour.
.
Great choice on its own, or to accompany other dishes as part of a meal.

Layered with egg and crunchy lettuce, then stuffed with chewy slices of beef, which results in a meaty savoury eggy vegetal sweet flavour to the rolls. Yum.

Stuffed with crisp airy fried dough fritters, which hold bready sweet savoury flavour, this stretched out the glistening rice rolls, looking like sheer cloth snugly wrapped around the appealing fritters.

Originated from Guangzhou, YinJi has expanded to several outlets in Hong Kong and even Canada, with only one single outpost in Singapore. This has got to be one of the CBD’s best kept hidden gems as the rice rolls are silky smooth with several varieties and fillings in it such as the Fried Dough Roll ($4.50) which contains you tiao in it and soaked in the soya sauce mixture or their signature Fresh Prawn Egg Roll ($7.50) which comes in a substantial portion too. Perhaps to wash it all down, the best way is to complement it with a bowl of congee, which was equally smooth and lightly seasoned. The trick is to pour in some of the soya sauce from the rice rolls into the congee before giving it a good mix.

These are more like fishballs but they were bouncy in texture plus crispy outside too.
