Oreo milk tea tasted a little diluted. Belgium cocoa milk tea with pearl is good. Pearls are chewy and soft. Would come back to try the rest.

Ordered the mix and match desserts that allows us to choose our base, toppings, and liquid topping! Ordered the aiyu jelly and grass jelling mix, qq balls, pudding, and brown sugar konjac toppings with brown sugar milk tea! Worth it with 1 for 1!

1-for-1 with #burpplebeyond!

For an alternative to Nine Fresh and Blackball in Novena, head over to Yocha where you can get similar yet much more affordable desserts. While I don’t really understand why I am not allowed to pick the fixed sets, I wouldn’t mind customizing my own either! Since both bf and I enjoyed the desserts with Burpple beyond on 2 separate visits, I practically tried almost everything on the menu.

My favorite combination would be the brown sugar grass jelly with honey ai yu jelly, though the grass jelly had a tougher texture. I had the lychee coconut jelly which tasted like nata de coco, the q balls which were also on the tougher side and not as flavorful as those from their competitors, as well as the passionfruit popping pearls for my toppings. Generally enjoyed the liquid toppings, but if you would like something more contrasting instead of pure sweetness, I would recommend the lemon juice.

Decided to give yocha's mix and match dessert a try since my Burpplebeyond membership is about to end soon. Got the set A1 honey aiyu jelly ($4.2) and a customised aiyu jelly + Q ball + lychee coconut jelly + passionfruit popping pearl + wintermelon juice ($4.2 too). 1 for 1 with Burpple beyond! I must say the wintermelon juice is reallllly bitter pls don't get that! The lemon juice liquid topping was much better.

The roasted sencha honey milk tea ($5.20 for a Large cup) was very nice and 香, I really enjoyed it. I would get it again. It was very worth it with the 1-for-1 deal. And I guess it’s healthier if they used honey instead of sugar...? Hahaha which made me feel a little less guilty about getting bubble tea :D

We customised our desserts - cost came up to $4.30 for 2 bowls ($2.15/pax) which is considered really affordable. However, we found the desserts too sweet and didn’t add the free wintermelon juice in 😅 Only the grass jelly is pretty good but overall it’s not that great and I wouldn’t pay the usual price for it sadly ☹️
