W fishcake and fish dumplings
All quite light actl, despite being homemade. The fishcake slices sucked, really can't taste anything. Otherwise it's your normal bouncy soft fishballs, doesn't taste significantly different from your store bought fishballs, this isn't the curd kind that's much more savoury

Normally for fishball noodles we eat for the fish. That's not just true here, the other components were terrible. The fishballs, meatballs, fishcake and fish dumplings were all quite good, but the mee pok was clumpy, alkaline and hard. Why the lard is in the soup not the noodles baffles me. I think it made the bland soup oilier. Special mention too for the abrasive stallholder.
