The consolation is this wasn't as bad as some of my past experiences here. But it's still really average.
Disaster. I saw different kinds of fried rice on their menu so I asked them, but the staff mumbled through and presented me this. Ladyfingers, bok choy, sausage, that's all. And if you're thinking the wok hei would shine through the darkness, there's none. Yes it's a mountain, but it doesn't make up for anything.
Stir-fried pork belly is one of the most dependable dishes in Chinese cuisine. Satisfying.
Another chance, another fail. First things first, the always languid female server forgot my order, despite being so free when she took it. Not my first run-in with her. Been wanting to try this for a long time but didn't know it's vegetarian. A lot of ingredients but hard to love.
Tiny popcorn chicken. Not impressed.
