Massive price hike, from 70 cents to 1nett now. The queue isnt affected too much tho. The cabbage Kueh is better panfried, the chives Kueh is less crispy.
Please add the egg, no idea why some banmian stalls can't have a decent egg but this one was perfect.
Min add on for minced meat is 1nett, theirs was not bad
Rather sweet sauce but very homely. Chili wasnt too strong either, do mix in their version of the chicken rice chili. Mee hoon kway was on the softer side, tad bouncy texture too.
Not bad overall, drop by if you're nearby
I might like it dabaoed better, the sauce is less viscous here and thus doesnt coat the slippery wantons as well. Otherwise it's still absolutely delicious, the chili packs a real punch despite the look, and don't customise anything please(I asked for extra spring onions and the bite ruined the balance)
Really affordable and well executed too. Not too oily or salty, unlike many caifan that's why they're so popular with older folks. The lion head has a unique cottony sticky texture though, not unpleasant just very unexpected
Came here due to the queue. Not quite sure which is their signature item here, though the standard banmian was decent, generous in portion, and the soup was quite flavourful
Solid version, mild with a ginger fragrance. Quite tender, only problem is the price haha rather expensive for hawker centre. Portion is pretty generous tho, more than feeds 1
