If you are here in the morning, make sure you grab some fried fritter from this stall called Sheng Huo Gong Shi, as they sell out pretty fast before lunch time. ($2.20 for all)

They started from formerly Commonwealth Food Centre before continuing their business here.

Their signature lobster porridge is a steal, and a must-order. The huge lobster is bathed in a comforting superior broth and the flavours of the meat fully captured in it.

Been visiting this stall since my childhood days, really consistent in terms of quality and freshness.

If you are in the area, please do yourself a favor and try their steam fish!!!
Their fried ginger toppings really complements the fish and gives you that final kick. :P

Here we have:
✅菜脯鱼头 Chai Poh Fish Head 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
✅马来风光 Sambal Kangkong
✅芋头扣肉 Braised Pork Belly with Taro
✅咕噜肉 Sweet and Sour Pork

These 4 dishes with 4 plates of rice totals up to be S$50, which is pretty reasonable considering the portion sizes. It is not my first time here but a must order every time I am here is their 菜脯鱼头 Chai Poh Fish Head. Extremely huge, meaty, fresh and flavourful fish head. Simply amazing. There are no words that I can use to describe it. Just come here, try it for yourself and you will know what I mean. Delicious is an understatement! At least for me 😋 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Really viscous porridge to the point of being slightly dry lol, but so much flavour from the pork and chicken broth. Good amount of filling and topping. Minced meat and sliced pork were tender and well marinated as well

From 我们粥品/we porridge #1-57

Lunch @ Yuhua Village! Hokkien Mee.. aka prawn noodle~ however, their thick Bee Hoon don’t seems thick like the usual ones..
