A traditional setting coffeeshop selling very good Kaya Toast. The toast is so soft. And, there is one stall selling very delicious fried bee hoon where you can choose some simple ingredients as the toppings. The fried bee hoon tastes just like home cooked.

This is what I would come back for! The bun was pillowy soft, but the exterior had a thin crisp layer - toasted buns should aspire to be like that. The Hainanese kaya was very coconutty, it’s good! This was a good kaya bun, the only thing is that I would have liked the butter to have been cold as opposed to the melty butter that was served.

Don’t usually eat eefu noodles so I’m not the best person to comment, but this was not bad mainly because it came piping hot and was quite tasty. The savoury sauce was quite nice, not overly salty and wasn’t starchy! There’s pork, veg, prawn, yam cubes (which I don’t eat) & a runny egg. Not sure if eefu noodles are meant to be soft but this was rather soft but it wasn’t rly soggy / didn’t become smooshy.

The donut is fluffy and q soft. To me it’s just like a circular bread dusted in fine sugar tho? I like it, but it’s not AMAZING and I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. I guess the limited supply and sufficient demand (I see people buying it in bags of 10-20??) makes it more coveted + it’s only out after 11.30am. Okay la it wasn't greasy which is good, and a nice simple snack that doesn’t try to be over-the-top.

This place served the best kaya / peanut buns in town! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Drinks, toast and eggs are ordered separately. Old school traditional coffeehouse, crowded most of the time. Queues can be seen on weekend morning even before they are open for business.
