The herbal flavour was not overly herbal so it's pretty good, even the sweetness is quite subdued. But a tad dry

This steamed fish head received a nod of approval from my fussy mum for its notably fresh and tender, fleshy meat.

And the best way to enjoy it — in light, fermented bean paste sauce with minced garlic and topped with lard crisp! 🫶🏻

Feelin’ adventurous and ordered this bright green chopped bitter gourd with lemon 🍋 juice drink to detoxify following bouts of puking after consuming some juicy fresh strawberries 🍓 that persisted for days.

This weird concoction clearly left a lasting impact on me with its unique bitter + zesty taste.

My family is always in the mood for Teochew porridge. Despite the fact that the dishes we ordered ain’t traditional Teochew style, the taste of their staple dishes is still something comforting that keep us coming back for more.

❤️ their high fat content — ‘dong puo rou’ [a.k.a. braised pork belly] that consist of wobbly skin with a layer of melt-in-your mouth fat beneath and thick chunks of lean meat braised in this incredibly flavourful soy sauce-based gravy.

Their crunchy prawn roll fried to golden brown and generously stuffed with finely minced meat, prawn and water chestnuts is another hit with us! ⭐️

Finally, I would very much like to enjoy the other dish — bitter gourd fried with egg and salted egg white. However, the gourd proves to be too bitter for my liking. 🤢

Love the doneness of their steamed fishes, always on point!

For 4 pax brunch, we ordered soon hock tail in 豆瓣酱 猪油渣 (bean paste sauce with pork lard) and a grouper Hong Kong style.

The braised pork trotters were flavourful and tender, the meat and fats literally melts in your mouth.

There are also other dishes available from the display and also from their menu.

Prepare to queue for both seats and ordering of food but definitely worthwhile! Prices are reasonable too.
