Revamped from the now-defunct Karafuku is this adorable cafe in Bugis that boasts an array of themed foods and desserts that folks of all ages will enjoy. Start with Oscar’s Teriyaki Chicken Katsu Burger ($24.90) — the kids will love the theatrics of it! Expect your chicken katsu dipped in teriyaki sauce and stuffed into a green matcha mantou that is made to look like the Sesame Street Character's face. Dessert-wise, choose from their selection of Mini Eclairs ($3 each) — Yuzu, Sakura, Café Au Lait, Hazelnut Chocolate, Ichigo Chantilly and more. Otherwise, their Sakura Yogurt Parfait ($14.90) is a foolproof option that features a soufflé cheese cake served with vanilla pudding, dango, sakura syrup and berries.

Nestled on Ceylon Road is this restaurant in the Eurasian Community House that's perfect for lively dinners with loved ones. Not only do they have great live music, they have a dedicated indoor playground fitted with a ball pit, toy car ride-ons, and even a library — so the whole fam is kept entertained! Go straight for the tangy Babi Assam ($20.80) that the kids can enjoy as its not too spicy. Otherwise, choose the addictively delicious Fretu Bendi ($18) that sees okra fried with mustard seed, curry leaves, fried chillies and turmeric. For dessert, opt for their Signature Sugee Cake ($10) made with semolina and almond, the perfect treat for the young and old!

Come by this cosy cafe on Changi Road for innovatively-plated treats. Go for their Lightning Cars ($18) that sees grilled chicken in brown sauce served with sweet potato purée, and fresh fruits. The kids will adore the sweet and fluffy Banana Pancakes ($18) with mixed berries. Vegetarians, go for their Forest Wrap ($18) filled with zucchini, eggplant, mushroom, tomato and cheddar cheese, served with tomato sauce and a side salad with fruit. Wash it down with an Iced Long Black ($6). P.s There's a bouncy castle to burn off all that excess sugar!

Treat yourselves to their Sunday Champagne Brunch ($128 per adult, $64 per child) which comes with unlimited servings of orange juice, ice lemon tea, coffee and tea. Psst, parents can indulge in freeflow champagne, gin, cocktails and wines for just $60 more! Look out for their bread pudding, the Kimberley Street kway chap. salted egg crispy prawns as well as their signature mushroom ravioli. However, when in doubt, just pop over to their many live cooking stations!

Moms will love the Simple Summer Breakfast ($19) with sliced avocado, sourdough, baby spinach and grilled tomatoes. Add on some bacon ($5) and/or halloumi cheese ($5) for extra ommph.
