If mama was a harmonious blend of sweetness and softness, this was a chaos of strong flavours. Parma ham, gorgonzola etc

Things don't necessarily mesh well, but it doesn't really matter if it's still delicious. Esp when it's clamped between crispy panini'd bread

If I ever come back, I think the salami bread might be even better if it's a milder cheese it's paired w

PSA they close at 430pm now, don't come for dinner

They have the best Italian sandwiches in Singapore. They only do panini's I think, which are great cos who doesn't like crispy bread.

Mama comes w a slew of veg fillings, and the sweetness and softness of the veggies come tgt w the mild cheese. As a meat eater I prefer more saltiness, bite and umami in my sandwiches, but even I have to admit that in its own right, this was lovely as it was

If you want Italian sandwiches, this is the place. The rest all fail.

The side was meat-free crispy nuggets with smoky cheddar cheese. I didn't realised nuggets taste so good even though it's meatless but the sauce was quite thick texture and mild cheese taste.

($17.70) it's a long time never eat maki san since I have custom diy sushi last 1 year ago lol on wrong sauce previously. So this round of time, I ordered with my sister that we have choose Japanese White Rice, Traditional Nori Seaweed, Grilled Chicken Strips, Shredded Cucumber, Shredded Carrot, Edamame Beans, Tamagoyaki (Japanese Omelette), Bonito Fish Flakes, Tangy Yuzu Sesame (sauce), smoked salmon. I felt that it was much better than previously that I have order at there. tangy yuzu sesame was quite not that strong or light and just nice level.

Choice of protein was the YUMMIEST JUICIEST MOST WELL-SEASONED chicken breast I've ever had. If they didn’t state that it was Chicken Breast I wouldn’t have known. Would also highly recommend the Shiitake Mushrooms and Truffle Parmesan Crumble as your toppings! Brown Rice was quite mushy and bland tho

Was only brought to the attention about the Affogato at McCafe after coming across a post by @raineraineeataway some time back on her chance encounter on the item — while it was first announced some time back when McDonalds had first opened their outlet at Marina Cove in East Coast Park that the location will be offering outlet-exclusive items, the impression of this news has pretty much faded over the passing of time. Turns out, McDonald’s is still carrying the said outlet-exclusive items in the McCafe menu at their outlet at Marine Cove almost nearly a decade after its opening (this outlet opened their doors in 2016); one being the Affogato, and the other being the Belgian Waffle with Mixed Berries.

It is pretty easy to be quite dismissive about the Affogato here for a simple reason — this is essentially an assembly of McCafe’s Espresso with McDonald’s Vanilla Soft-Serve; something they can be said as rather predictable and to a certain degree not quite as authentic as what one would expect to get if dining at a true-blue Italian establishment. That being said, there are some differences if one decides to do a self-assembly of this item by ordering the individual elements and putting it altogether at other McDonald’s locations housing a McCafé. For one, the shot of espresso is being steeped into the paper cup before the Vanilla soft-serve is swirled into it; this also means that the Vanilla soft-serve is unlikely to have become too melted down when it is being served. The proportion of vanilla soft serve and coffee hits the sweet spot, striking a good balance of the bitter undertones of the coffee as well as the creaminess and sweetness of their standard vanilla soft-serve. While travelling into Marine Cove at East Coast Park just for the Affogato does sound a little crazy even for those whom are especially interested in the item, the price of $4.45 for the Affogato does make it rather accessible considering the price of Affogato in a typical cafe or in restaurants that serves it; definitely scratches the cravings for us for sure though!

HUGE & CRISPY AF beer-battered onion rings served with scallion sour cream! if you’re someone like me who dunks her sides & runs out of sauce easily, there’s always their free-flow sauces on the side✌🏼

acai wasnt too sour or icy. rlly loved the toppings esp the honey roasted cashews & coconut chia pudding which was so thickkk and they gave a lot! and the cashewsss omg so crunchy and sweet YUM

A nice change from the usual strawberry variant, Nesuto’s Melon Vanilla Shortcake was pretty refreshing. Layered with diced Australian Rockmelon and Vanilla Souffle Sponge, the Vanilla Mascarpone Chantilly Cream was light yet aromatic with a pleasant dose of sweetness. Holding everything together, the airy whipped cream was the best part for me as it didn’t take the spotlight away from the melon. The chiffon was also soft and mild in flavour so most of the sweetness was from that of the fruit.

Base: Quinoa + Basmati Rice mix
Protein: Falafel- crunchy & moist!
Toppings: Curry Chickpea, Mixed Mushroom, Beansprout, Roasted Cauliflower & Soft-Yolk Egg

Generous portion & lemon yogurt dressing is rly good, wish they gave more of that!

Moist & soft brownie with choco on top, sprinkled with sea salt. Personally prefer fudgy kind as this wasn't very rich for me but would be just nice for most. Served warm too
