There's alcohol despite the menu's wording!!!

A decent version, nothing special so very overpriced

Here's what's annoying. The price of the items have risen sharply compared to just 6 months ago. Furthermore, the menu changes every 3-6 months. Not sure if it's reflected on the website

Nonetheless this is still V good, for Singapore standards. Strong thick shellfish base, slightly chewy rice. The prawns were decent but not great. Served it's purpose well enough

Overall, well executed. Worth a try if you're someone who likes this, it's probably better than most versions out there

This was delicious. Creamy, somewhat nutty, mildly sweet pistachio sauce with good pasta that has bite. When you mix in the burrata, the flavour profile changes

Worth a try

Parma ham pizza toppings on a soft potato pancake. The potato pancake was soft but didn't have much taste nor was there any crisp. Too hot as well, difficult to eat. Toppings didn't rlly mesh w the potato pancake either

Skip, even if it's not considering this ridiculous price. Just get a Parma ham pizza at this price somewhere else

Stumbled along this pretty and quaint Peranakan designed cafe that sold local delights - from laksa to tiny kuehs. Went for the curry chicken rice which was a sizeable portion, with one huge chicken drumstick, potatoes, and a side of Nyonya chap Chye. The curry was rich in lemak - that aroma and flavour of coconut milk really came through. The gravy was also on the sweeter side, and I wished it had a much spicier kick. And that was easily solved after I requested for a side of sambal and added it to the gravy, which really elevated the experience and the spice of the entire curry. A nice homely meal!

1) Appetizer - Wild Arugula Lyonnaise
The seasoning was really good, it has a slightly sour but rich taste that went well with the prosciutto, poached egg and the torn croutons. Every ingredient complemented each other so well and there wasn’t a strong vegetable taste, which made it palatable. The vegetables were fresh as well!

2)Steak - USDA prime hanging tender (220g)
The meat taste is super good; chewy, juicy and tender. The colour of the meat was very beautiful, the Bernadaise sauce had a fragrant herb and lemony taste that’s really tasty and the confit garlic was really yummy. Everything went well with the steak.

3)Grilled Broccolini:
Very crunchy and even for the leafy part, there’s a nice smokey taste. The salsa sauce has this slightly sour yet tangy taste, wasn’t spicy at all and the nuts went well with the dish!

4)Lamb rack:
The salsa verde sauce was very fragrant and the confit garlic complemented the lamb rack. The lamb had a nice salty and peppery taste! When eaten with the sauce/garlic, there isn’t a strong lamb taste. The texture of the lamb rack was soft as well.

5)Dessert - Seasonal Eton Mess:
It becomes more delicious as you eat and there were different levels and blends of taste. There’s a fragrant flower taste and fruits blend with syrup (raspberry and lychee), meringue, cream and tiny bits of almond at the bottom!

The ambience and the service of the staff was 10/10, would highly recommend coming to this steakhouse! It is more of sharing plate concept which allows diners to try different dishes!!

Had a fantastic dinner here at Meadesmoore! Have been meaning to try this for a while, and I'm glad I finally got around to it.

We started off with the Wild Arugula Salad, thoroughly enjoying the crispy croutons, the cured ham, and the poached egg nestled in the middle of the Arugula stack. Perfectly sets the mood for the rest of the meal.

For mains we had the USDA Prime Hanging Tender, which was, as its name suggests, very tender and juicy. It was the right level of doneness, and it wasn't extremely chewy. It is complemented well with the garlic and the bearnaise sauce. We also had the Lamb Rack, wowing us with its smoky and very pronounced taste of lamb, which I very much loved as I am very partial towards lamb. We also had the Grilled Broccolini with the mains, accompanied by romesco salsa and a scattering of hazelnuts, which really added to the taste!

Lastly, we had the dessert, featuring an amalgamation of fruits like raspberry, strawberry, and lychee, as well as meringues and vanilla ice cream with almonds towards the bottom. It had a very fruity flavour intertwined with floral notes. Nothing was too overpowering, and it really serves as a fantastic finish to the meal.

The atmosphere was new to me as I'm not used to eating in such upmarket areas, but the deco definitely fit the dark theme it was going for. Service was amazing as well, with the waiter coming to check in on us and ensure that the food is brought out in a timely manner.

Would come again... as soon as I saved up enough money once more.

If you are looking for a good quality Korean BBQ, I really think you no need to look further as our experience at @o.bba_bbq_jjajang_amoy @o.bba_sg was really fantastic 😍

The Best Set ($68) was very much good for 2, as it came with 2 huge slabs of wet aged pork belly and a soybean stew. The wet aged pork belly was just phenomenal, as our server cooked it perfectly; it was nicely charred and crispy on the outside, and the inside was just so tender and juicy. It had a very clean taste and was really as good if not better than the fresh pork belly I've had in Korea.

The Soybean Stew was comforting and came with loads of seafood ingredients and tofu. Not too salty and you get a rich umami taste too!

One item you need to get at Obba is their Flying Fish Roe with Rice ($14). It was so nicely flavoured with seafood umami coming from the roe and seaweed! Definitely a great carb to have together with your BBQ.

The side dishes here were also superior as compared to other places. The kimchi was very fresh and crunchy, they have tteokbokki as their sides that day (no need to order separately 😍) and the egg rolls were done very well!

From the food to the service, everything was just wonderful. Can't wait to come back to obba again!

($1.80) I didn't expected that their kuek was fresh made on the day itself and got that warm temp inside kuek. Kaya taste like not tat sweet but got strong coconut smell. Glutinous rice was really got hard texture so it's tough to chew thru.

Came by on the eve of Labour Day and there was a long waitlist at about 7.30pm. Left out contact details and took a walk, and surprisingly we got the call to return about 25min later, quicker than expected. Ordered the Half Yang Nyeom Chicken Mixture ($23) which came in a huge portion and drenched in a sweet-spicy sauce. Spicier than expected for Mild, but thought the chicken could be crispier. For carbs, we just went with the simple Ramen ($10) which was actually decent and the noodles were perfectly firm. Washed it all down with a pint of Stella ($12 for full pint during HH), great with the complimentary crackers.

If you thought that @fura.sg small plates were intriguing, wait till you finish your drinking session with some of their desserts. Just like the tapas portions, Fura uses mundane & easily available vegetarian ingredients & reconstructs them into something unique & wonderful.⠀
⠀⠀
For the more peculiar dessert, Fura has a King Belote ($15++) that’s built from zucchini turned into an upsized financier, mushroom ice cream, and lemon yogurt meringue. The zucchini cake is slightly bitter, but it goes perfectly with the salty & umami mushroom ice cream and the sweet & tangy lemon yogurt. Salty, umami, sweet, creamy and even a little bitter, almost every last taste profile is represented here and it was an unexpectedly satisfying dessert.⠀

Fura has thoroughly impressed me: not only have they managed to make vegetarian cuisine intriguing, they’ve made it plenty delicious too.
