Pork loin is thinly battered & deep-fried to crispy but not oily; meat is tender except the area where the ligament is; toasted milk bread is soft & fluffy; came with emmental & shredded cabbage; sesame dressing helps to cut through the greasiness; best for sharing..

Salmon marinated with miso & well-cooked to perfection; skin is slightly charred, fillet is fresh & firm; below is a bed of smooth mashed potatoes; came with creamy lemon sauce which is thick but not surfeiting, lemon taste can be more pronounced..

Al-dente pasta tossed in garlic, white wine & lemon; broth is flavorful with natural sweetness from clams; clams are fresh & firm; prefer to have more broth to go with the noodles..

If mama was a harmonious blend of sweetness and softness, this was a chaos of strong flavours. Parma ham, gorgonzola etc

Things don't necessarily mesh well, but it doesn't really matter if it's still delicious. Esp when it's clamped between crispy panini'd bread

If I ever come back, I think the salami bread might be even better if it's a milder cheese it's paired w

PSA they close at 430pm now, don't come for dinner

They have the best Italian sandwiches in Singapore. They only do panini's I think, which are great cos who doesn't like crispy bread.

Mama comes w a slew of veg fillings, and the sweetness and softness of the veggies come tgt w the mild cheese. As a meat eater I prefer more saltiness, bite and umami in my sandwiches, but even I have to admit that in its own right, this was lovely as it was

If you want Italian sandwiches, this is the place. The rest all fail.

A popular Korea bagel brand has made their way to Singapore, with their first outlet here opened at the basement of Tanglin Mall.

Opens as early as 8:30am, a perfect spot to grab some breakfast with their signature bagels.

I went for their cinnamon and au butter, provided with a small bowl of cream to go with your bagels.

Lovely texture that not too hard to bite but still firm enough to enjoy.

Accompanied by their new spanish latte.

Cafe Natsu's finer attention to detail is most evident in their wagyu hamburg don.

Their wagyu hamburg patty was thick, tender and juicy, well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. It is topped with an onsen egg yolk and sits on top of a bed of oroshi or grated daikon radish which lends a fresh subtly sweet contrast to the beefy and rich wagyu patty and creamy luxurious onsen egg yolk.

My favourite part of this dish is the aromatic and perfectly balanced chestnut mushroom rice and crunchy white kimchi which comes paired with the wagyu patty. The rice and kimchi are flavourful on their own but serves to elevate the wagyu patty to the next level. I loved how Cafe Natsu melded all these flavours to create a harmonious and balanced dish.

As mentioned previously, Cafe Natsu is indeed pricey but when viewed in the lens of 'finer' dining, it may well be justified!

The Bulgogi Beef Banh Mi is packed filled with caramelised bulgogi meat and creamy mayo. The meat was tender with a sweet and savory sauce, and a fresh crunch from the sliced cumumber, tangy pickled vegetables and fragrant cilantro. This was a more hearty and savory banh mi as compared to others.

($8) I finally tried it out their matcha latte after a long time seeing them online lol but then I felt that their matcha got in between sweet and bitter taste. But their matcha latte get cooling so fast :") due to not that high temp to reduce oxidation. I didn't opt out for oat milk bc I didn't wanted to destroy original taste tbh. I hope that I want to order hojicha latte next time when I got time to do that.

Sibei poseur name hahaha. Apparently made with premium Valrhona couverture chocolate. It was fine but I've had better iced chocs.

a p good shakshouka!! there’s a medley of ingredients: grilled zucchini & eggplant, mushrooms, baked beans. topped with 2 eggs, mozzarella, tomato concasse, and sriracha sauce (loved that they added this for a little heat)🍳🔥 i really liked the garlic and thyme spread on the toasts but i would have preferred them to be toasted longer

lovee the creamy egg and ham filling! a very substantial slice too, but the crust was q soggy and lacked flavour
