Both of us are such suckers for Risotto, especially for Seafood risotto. So what attracted us to try out black cherry, was that there's a 1for1 risotto here.

The seafood was fresh and the Risotto, tasted like it had a spa day soaking in prawn broth. It was Tasty good.

Black Cherry is located at Bijou, a mixed development residential Condominium located within walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT.

Came here for the Burrple 1for1, but decided to have some Tapas, which looked damn good.

1)SPANISH PRAWN GAMBAS AL AJILLO @ $18
- sauteed prawn cooked with garlic, chili & extra virgin olive oil
- My favourite, overpowering garlic, burst of flavours, fresh prawns.

2) CHORIZO AL VINO @$16
-chorizo sausage, sauteed in red wine with chili & garlic
- rather good, burst of flavours.

3)ALMEJAS A LA MARINER@$16
- (spanish style clams) fresh clams in white wine, lemon, garlic, olive oil
- clams were fresh, and that "broth" was damn flavourful and shiok.

not selling food anymore, only drinks available till they close end May 2024 :( made a wasted trip here because there was no update on Google/Burpple about their official closure

I ordered the crispy skin grilled salmon with tobiko cream sauce, fries and green salad. The serving was generous, the salmon was well cooked and savory. Food was served approximately 5-10 minutes after order was sent. Overall, the restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere and the crowd only appears after 8pm on a Thursday night. It is also easily accessible with just a 3 minute walk from Sixth Avenue station.

Luxury trio @ $106++
Includes hangar, ribeye and Special wagyu beef at additional $8++

The supply of meats there is seasonal and the wagyu beef they had when we were there had to be charged an additional $8. But no complaints there because it was really great! All the meats were good and super delicious.

The servers will torch the meats when serving them to give an extra smokey flavour which is really nice.

A small restaurant located along the busy street opposite i12 Katong, Stirling Steaks served up one mean steak. Went for the tenderloin which was executed well, a nice sear that was delicately marinated, and unsurprisingly, very tender. The side of truffle fries were a tad too oily, but still delicious. Would definitely come back here with the Burpple 1-for-1 deal - so worth it!

Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ordered the ribs and it was tender and mustard sauce had the right sweetness on top of the spice. Sides were decent too, coleslaw was sweet and had the old school style, while mashed potatoes are warm and comforting for the palate.

Overall a value for money offering as the portion size was generous too.

1) Appetizer - Wild Arugula Lyonnaise
The seasoning was really good, it has a slightly sour but rich taste that went well with the prosciutto, poached egg and the torn croutons. Every ingredient complemented each other so well and there wasn’t a strong vegetable taste, which made it palatable. The vegetables were fresh as well!

2)Steak - USDA prime hanging tender (220g)
The meat taste is super good; chewy, juicy and tender. The colour of the meat was very beautiful, the Bernadaise sauce had a fragrant herb and lemony taste that’s really tasty and the confit garlic was really yummy. Everything went well with the steak.

3)Grilled Broccolini:
Very crunchy and even for the leafy part, there’s a nice smokey taste. The salsa sauce has this slightly sour yet tangy taste, wasn’t spicy at all and the nuts went well with the dish!

4)Lamb rack:
The salsa verde sauce was very fragrant and the confit garlic complemented the lamb rack. The lamb had a nice salty and peppery taste! When eaten with the sauce/garlic, there isn’t a strong lamb taste. The texture of the lamb rack was soft as well.

5)Dessert - Seasonal Eton Mess:
It becomes more delicious as you eat and there were different levels and blends of taste. There’s a fragrant flower taste and fruits blend with syrup (raspberry and lychee), meringue, cream and tiny bits of almond at the bottom!

The ambience and the service of the staff was 10/10, would highly recommend coming to this steakhouse! It is more of sharing plate concept which allows diners to try different dishes!!
