Min order 150g, but obviously they always try to oversell you abit. Mine was a 180g block

While it's a dessert cheese, the crumbly cheese itself was abit salty. My french friend says it's abit like comte, that's a very good description. But the small bits of dried fruits added sweetness

Overall quite interesting and not bad

Found a gem in the heart of Chinatown! Just a few steps away from the 2nd level of Hong Lim Complex, lies @springcoffee.sg , a lovely quaint cafe good for coffee and conversations.

We had their new Strawberry Matcha ($8.50) and I must say it was quite refreshing! Do give it a good stir, and you will feel like the matcha and strawberry flavours complement well together. We like the homemade strawberry jam below, as it came with several very soft pieces of strawberry that isn't too sweet. A very pretty drink indeed!

I love a good coffee, and their Iced Latte ($5.50) is one worth to come back for. It had the right amount of milk, and I like how strong and nutty the coffee was such that it does not get diluted towards the end. Definitely a smooth cup of coffee I would love to have again!

Will be back again once I'm around the area!

A warm and comforting bowl of pho with beef brisket. Don’t forget to add in some spice, lime and chili that provided separately to enhance the taste of the soup.

This Vietnamese restaurant is hidden at the side of Fook Hai Building facing Upper Hokien Street. Yet it doesn’t stop many people who work around coming here for their lunch.

The waiting time gets a bit longer during this lunch peak period, considering they have only a few people working at the kitchen.

The fresh hand roll was served first, which is good enough to fill our tummy while waiting for our pho.

Stuffed with veggie, shrimp and beef. Dipping it to the sauce and you will enjoy much of it.

It is very interesting to see them selling some local dishes like Mee Siam at this place.

But this curry chicken with focaccia attracted me eventually. The curry was surprisingly so rich and tasty that I finished the whole bowl with the focaccia bread. The curry also comes with few pieces of chicken and potatoes.

The rosemary and garlic focaccia really give its fragrant taste when you dipped it with the curry.

The Shelter is a store selling clothing and merchandise, but most people come here to enjoy their foods and drinks also.

You know the weather has been very hectic these few days, so this air-conditioned shop is the perfect place to hide from this hot weather outside.

That’s the reason I choose to go for something refreshing with their grapefruit oolong. A cold brew oolong over house-made grapefruit purée.

However I didn’t taste much of the oolong taste in the drink. But more with the grapefruit purée.
