Wasted 30minutes of me and my friend’s time searching for the coffee roaster only to find out that it is no longer operating.

Housed in a corner of Mandarin Gallery, DRIM is a cosy and intimate Korean style house that specialised in Korean beef dishes.
I had the galbi-tang (beef rib soup) which was beautifully served in a brass bowl on a gorgeous mugunghwa-shaped wooden tray. Sides of tangy young kimchi and radish kimchi were served with the soup.
The beef soup was clear, clean tasting and full of beefy umami flavours. It was light, delightful and tasty. I really love the tender beef ribs which had a strong and bold beefy taste without tasting gamey. It goes well with the tangy vinegary sauce that comes on the side.
The food here is definitely 최고! Jjinja mashis!
Beside the standard bbq pork, Mincheng also has pork belly with sauerkaut. I personally prefer the later which doesnt get dry and tough as fast. The addition of sauerkaut with its tangy and acidic notes made this dish even better!
Shukuu Izakaya’s Tochigi Wagyu A4 skewer is a must-try—super tender, buttery, and full of umami. The beef short rib skewer is just as impressive: juicy, flavourful, and grilled to perfection. Perfect spot for top-notch kushiyaki in town!
Tried Seng House for dinner—Pandan Latte was smooth and fragrant, perfect after a long day. Hainanese Pork Chop was crispy and satisfying, with that classic tangy sauce. We also had some amazing truffle fries that were crisp and well seasoned. Great spot for a comforting local dinner!
Still so good. The pork was incredible. But overall too salty.
The fiancee warned me theirs aren't good. It turned out worse. The bread was lame and the filling was bland. Never again.
I've reviewed these many times but I'm here to report the lamb has improved.
Seafood Jjampong ($11.80) features chewy noodles in a flavourful spicy soup that is packed with seafood, onion and kimchi. The portion is very big and the taste is on point.
