I was combing my Favourites folder in my phone and I came across this picture from the pre-Kumoya days, when it was known as Karafuru. Their eclairs* were much longer then, and they embodied a wisp of sweetness, which is common among Japanese desserts. 🌬
Not complaining though. I'm glad that they've adjusted towards a new direction cuisine-wise, and under a new name, Kumoya Desserts. This has undoubtedly made them more inclusive of Muslim patrons…or some might call them the 'halal warriors' hahaha.
Anyway, I wonder what Kumoya is up to these days. Perhaps it may be time for another visit?! 🤔

Coffee here is fragrant and the ambience here is perfect for doing work with free wifi and power sockets.
I've always been a fan of Henri Charpentier's Strawberry Shortcake. The sponge is so fluffy, the cream is fresh as well as the strawberries being very sweet too!
Matchaya serves great soft serves that make me look forward to their mystery flavours every week.
I love traditional pancakes with new flavours so I was naturally attracted to this when I saw it. The sides were crispy and the pancake was delicious
The springy noodles and the chilli was such a great combination. I enjoyed this bowl of noodles a lot 😋
You know where to go when you have local food craving. Reasonable price and delicious food, especially the salty egg pork ribs which is so evil yet tasty. Even I stay in the east, will surely revisit again!
