Bird's Nest is created by swiftlets using solidified saliva. They are particularly prized in Chinese culture due to their rarity, and supposedly high nutritional value and exquisite flavor. Bird's nest are among the most expensive animal products.
This is my first time to try this kind of food. I thought that this will be serve in a hot soup but to my surprise it was a cold sweet gelatin texture dessert with a fruity flavorful taste. The restaurant serve different flavor of bird's nest and ours was Longan. I do like it for a first timer like me and I still want to try Bird's Nest serve hot.
