Órale

Located in Damansara Utama Órale serves Mexican-inspired street food. We could almost assume we were back on Hispanic soil, with a bright façade and interior and Latin tunes humming from the speakers.

When you are at Órale, you might want to try their Abuela's Pulled Beef Barbacoa (RM23 – bowl, RM20 – burrito) is made with topside beef that has been slow-cooked with seasonings and is powerful with smoky tomato flavours. Both are drenched in Órale's garlic aioli, however, one is wrapped in a tortilla while the other is served in a bowl without the carbs. Lime brown rice, black beans, shredded cabbage, and sour cream are all included in the burrito.
Órale, colourful atmosphere; good value for money servings is one of the reasons for you to stop by; chickchanga and Cordero quesadilla are must-orders when you are there.

A place that was decorated in a distinctive way, with part of the wall painted orangey and number plates plastered on it. Las Carretas is a fantastic spot for a little get-together with friends and family. The "Las Carretas" Frozen Margarita, which is perfect for sharing, is a must-try. (At RM 58.50 for half a pitcher). This is the ideal 'Tiki-La-La Drink' made with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, available only at Las Carretas!

The menu is extensive, including sharing plates, antojitos, tapas, nachos, tacos, tortilla platos, mains, postres, beverages, cocktails, and tequilas among the options. There are also non-traditional Mexican foods on the menu, such as hamburgers and spaghetti. If you prefer something vegetarian, get the Berenjena y Champinones (RM 12), which comes with roasted mushrooms and eggplant, herbed pomegranate salsa, and rosemary sour cream. There is a large selection of vegetarian foods on the menu, each of which is labelled with an avocado sign.

Sala's goal is to promote Latin-inspired Tex-Mex healthy eating by using only high-quality ingredients in their meals, ensuring that you get the greatest meat-free meals without sacrificing flavour. They provide a diverse vegan menu that includes burritos, tacos, and salads. Sala was bursting at the seams with people of all ages and backgrounds. Ingredients are shown in a Subway-style format, and brown-hued fillings may appear strange to some. The 'meat fillings' were actually a deli with spicy tempeh, barbecued jackfruit, seared tofu, and other vegetarian options.
