For Mediterranean Fine Dining
If you like spices, then try the Mediterranean selection at Quivo, and what a selection it is, there’s pizzas, pasta, burgers, kebabs, soups, fondue, and even steaks. Visitors recommend trying the Rigatoni a la Rossa (Rm58) which is jumbo tiger prawn that is sautéed in what can only be explained as a bloody mary sauce. Customers also commend the outdoor ambience, which they say is perfect with a glass of wine, and yes, Quivo has a wide selection of wine as well. Going for lamb or beef, order the Harvest Dairy Shiraz cabernet (RM29 a glass), or the Pascal Jolivet Attitude Pinot Noir (RM36 a glass) for fish-based dishes.

Ramen BankaraPhoto by Ramen Bankara

For A Hot Bowl Of Ramen
Bankara is a Japanese word that means; to be unique, and different from societal norms. This is indeed the philosophy of Ramen Bankara, which translates into their signature ramen. Their original Bankara (RM24.80) comes with Chashu, bamboo shoots, dried seaweeds, and spring onions. Many customers have noted that it is similar to authentic Japanese Tonkotsu, but given a Bankara twist. How about giving it a shot to see for yourself. Other items on the menu include fried Kakkuni (pork belly, RM19.90) and Gyoza (RM12.80).

Meng Meng Roasted DuckPhoto by Meng Meng Roasted Duck

For Roasted Duck
If you’re in the mood for something more close to home, or local tasting, stop by Meng Meng Roasted Duck. This franchise has been around since 2003 and is the benchmark for duck rice, and also chicken rice for that matter. The roasted ducks are prepared fresh daily and left to hang behind a glass window, which despite how it sounds, makes for an appetizing sight. In case you didn’t get the hint on what to order here, we’re gonna spell it out for you; “ORDER THE DUCK” (RM88 for a whole duck). Not interested in duck, you can have pork, either crispy or honey glazed (RM50 for 500gm), or go for the Roasted combination, (duck and pork) which comes in at RM33.80 for a small portion that is good enough for 2.

Starbucks ReservePhoto by Burppler John Barry

For Finely Brewed Coffee
Midvalley hosts one of the 2 Starbucks Reserve in the state (the second being Paradigm Mall), and if you thought that it's just another Starbucks then you're wrong. Starbucks Reserves brews up the regular, plus, a whole other menu of drinks that are not served at regular outlets. For coffees they have beans from Bolivia, Rwanda, and Zambia, which you can have brewed in three different styles, pour-over, siphoned, and their trademark Chemex. Try their signature drinks, like the Undertow (RM20.15), a shot of espresso resting on vanilla syrup and cold half and half, and the Nitro Cold brew (RM16.95 grande), which, you guessed it, is chilled with liquid nitrogen.

For Ice Cream On Toast
Try out the multitude of cakes and tarts here, they've been around since 2016 and now have a total of 9 outlets, so they must be doing something right. Bite into their pastries like the Hanjuku Cheese Tart (RM7), Burnt Cheese Cake (Rm9.90) and Signature Crepe Cake (RM14). For those looking for something heavier, you're in luck, as this Outlet at Mid Valley Southkey is one of their three fusion cafe's, so not only do theyr serve tarts and cakes but full fledge meals as well. Give their Spaghetti Hokkaido Scallops with Ebiko cream (RM25.90) and Smoked duck Pizza (RM39.90) a try.

For Sweet And Spicy Korean Chicken
Not interested in that selection? Well, what mall would be complete without a wide selection of fast food restaurants. If you’re in a hurry you can stop by at any of the popular franchises located in Mid Valley, there's A&W, Carls Jr, KFC, and Burger King, but what we would recommend is 4 fingers. Starting out in Singapore and well known for their New York-style Korean chicken wings, you’re bound to have a hearty good meal here. Go for the 6 pieces wingettes and drumettes combo (RM23.90) that comes with fries and drink.
