Korean The House Chung Dam offers a thoughtfully curated dining experience, with an elegant yet comfortable ambience that makes it suitable for both casual occasions and more special evenings. The service was attentive and well-paced, with staff demonstrating professionalism and a good understanding of the menu. What stood out most were the cuts—fresh, high-quality, and prepared with care, allowing the natural flavours to come through. The makgeolli was another highlight, smooth and well-balanced, complementing the meal beautifully. Overall, the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail made the experience both satisfying and memorable. It is certainly a place I would revisit, especially for its consistent quality and well-executed Korean cuisine.

Unique kbbq restaurant The House Chungdam is a unique Kbbq experience that stands out from the rest of the options along Tanjong Pagar. Unlike the typical kbbq spots, it has a warm, minimalist setting with bright lighting, creating a clean, upscale aesthetic. The food did not disappoint as well. I liked how they introduced dishes that differ from standard kbbq fare, like the potato cheese jeon. As a huge proponent of cold noodles with kbbq, I love the mini cold noodles option that served as a perfect complement to round off a hearty meal.

The menu offers a unique twist on classic dishes, with highlights like the potato cheese jeon that you don’t typically find at standard KBBQ places. The vibe is on point: lively, a little upscale, but still super comfortable. Perfect balance for a great night out. The food was hearty, flavorful, and overall delicious. My partner and I had such a great experience- we left full and happy. Definitely coming back, and 100% recommend for date nights, family dinners or catching up with friends.

Its like a secret hideout 🥳 Seldom do I get to try vegetarian Risotto, so definitely ordering that 🍄‍🟫 Delightful blend of mushroom and turmeric with adequate portions given 🙂‍↔️ Seems like a small plate, however my stomach was filled 🤓 This place is fully vegetarian which caters for different audiences such as Eggless, vegans or allium-free. Conveniently located at Somerset MRT (NS23) going out at Exit G, which leads to Orchard Central. Real food is based on Level 2 🤠 Highly recommended for vegetarians or vegans who are looking for some unique cuisines to try 🤤

Yee Mian Yee Mian at Real Food in Orchard Central 😍 My first time to this place, peaceful ambience with amazing service 🤩 Yee Mian was interesting with the multiple fried tofu? slices, not too sure hahaha 😂 Well seasoned, not too much starch, noodles were cooked just right 😋 This place is fully vegetarian with multiple dietary options such as Vegan, eggless, gluten free etc ⭐️ Conveniently located near Somerset MRT (NS23), 5-10 minutes walk through the linkway to Orchard Central, Level 2. It is pretty secluded, so do not give up 💪 Highly recommended for tourists and vegetarians in town for shopping and are looking for some local mixed with western delights 😎

Great Service, Amazing food Loved my visit to One Prawn & Co! The staff were super friendly and explained the dishes really well. The steak was juicy, flavorful, and worth every cent. Dessert was a fun surprise — three different treats on one plate, each great on its own but even better when mixed together. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Cozy dinner at CBD Super love the food and how central the location is! A perfect date night spot for couples working in CBD! Definitely order the Tiramisu to end the night, no regrets!

dinner @ Market Bistro came here for dinner and totally don’t regret! food was very tasty and the service was a 10/10. we ordered the baby squid, steak and fries and tiramisu. the tiramisu is to die for!!! the food was very well prepared. safe to say our table was spread with delectables :-)

Bad experience Terrible experience at the restaurant. Bad service. We were seated and ordered by 6.30pm. Told the staff we want to use burpple but she walked away. Carried on conversation with my guest without thinking too much about it. Until the moment I wanted to make payment then I realised i couldn't redeem it because it has to be done by 7pm. Couldn't have seafood options either, even though it's not stated on the deal. I've been on burpple for some time but it's the first time I have had such a frustrating and embarrassing experience. Pizzas were hard and not worth the price we paid. I'm so disappointed that I'm writing a review for the first time! The staff should have asked me to redeem it after I told her I'm using it instead of walking away. What's worse is when the manager said, "yes a lot of people have an issue with this" which means they are aware of this and intentionally chose not to remind us. And the manager should also have showed empathy instead of saying, "the problem that you cannot redeem is between you and the burpple app. The condition is not by us."

First Visit, YES! Second visit, meh... First visit was rather pleasant. Visited on a Fri, and terms stated to order by 7pm. Was "pressured" by the staff to order "asap". Food was pretty good. No restrictions to choices. It was a nice cozy spot! My friends and I all enjoyed the food and ambience. Ordered Salmon Pesto pasta, Signature Mondomio pasta, Romana pizza (shown in pic). Second visit on a Tuesday dinner, informed the staff i would like to use burpple. Immediately told me "no risotto, no seafood" - this was NOT stated on the t&cs in burpple. Was really looking forward to letting my friend try the salmon pesto (highly recommend if you like pesto), but fish is seafood too. Quite disappointed for the "double standards" even though food is quite nice. Pls check with shop on what is available to order prior to visit since they're not clear with their t&cs or they changed it without any updates.

Good food but poor service… Food and price were actually sooo good! Loved the tagliatelle the sauce soooo delish but felt that the manager’s attitude changed completely when she heard we were using burpple… like she didn’t even look at us when talking to us compared to the friendliness showed when sitting us down 🥲

Soup Tulang First time trying Soup Tulang, a little on the pricey side but apparently this is one of the better ones out there. Worth a try!

Chongqing Spicy Chicken This dish looked fiery with its heap of dried chillies but the flavour was surprisingly gentle. The chicken pieces were crisp on the outside, juicy inside and carried only a light fragrance from the peppers without the numbing or overwhelming spice. That made it perfect for my old folks, who usually shy away from heavy heat yet could enjoy this comfortably 》$14

Cartilage & Lamb Rib Skewers I was adventurous but I shan't do it again hahaha. Very weird to be biting through bones.

Sauerkraut Boiled Fish Noodle Slightly better than the twice-cooked pork noodle.

Scallion Pancake I can tell it's frozen and maybe even from factory, but it's still nice lah.

Loveeeee the fish & chips from Big Fish Small Fish @ Punggol East Container Park!!! 🐟🍟 Def one of the best offerings there. I bought the Sea Bass ($10.90) which comes with those lightly salted thin potato crisps. Dory ($6.90) is probs pretty yums too. Soooo good especially with the sauces!!!!!! Ranging from Salted Egg to Cheese, Chilli, Ketchup, Tar Tar andddddd XO Mayo!! Love dipping the fish in every sauce leh. Each bite is like a new dish. MUST TRY: Salted Egg Calamari with Bonito Flakes ($7.90) 🦑 Super goooood. The rings were big and the sauce is so sedap. The Korean fried chicken wings from Seoul Good... can forget about it la don't bother hahahahahah #burpple #dqky

Pizza They offer a wide variety of pizza from thick crust to thin crust , it’s pretty good if ure in e mood for pizzas . Those giant capers was awesome , but there was simply too much cream on top the bread , overwhelming everything else on the toast .

Tiramisu For dessert, the Tiramisu ($15) was more than lovely. Not too wet or dry, the stack came together exceptionally well. It wasn’t overly alcoholic in taste and I really enjoyed the citrus/ orange aftertaste I got after each bite. The creme was yummy and the chocolate powder dusted at the very top made it even better!

Parma Pizza A nice balance; crafted with a tangy tomato sauce base, mozzarella cheese, parma ham, stracciatella cheese and sun-dry tomatoes, ANTO Pizza E Aperitivi’s classic Parma ($38) pie was simply amazing. Wonderfully put together, it didn’t feel like a full-blown meaty pizza but rather a moreish and well-executed slice with a bit of everything. Crisp, puffy crust and fluffy-chewy in the middle. The leopard-spotted corners were my favourite parts.

Zhup Zhup Very tasty food, recommend the ngoh hiang and prawn paste chicken as sides. Service staff are very friendly and atmosphere is great!

Shiok Prawn Noodles Tried the $20 bowl at Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodles — the soup was super rich and flavourful that I finished every drop, and the portion was very generous. Ngoh hiang platter was decent but could have more variety; overall 4.5/5 ⭐ as the price is a bit high, but I’ll still come back again 👍
