Tasty herbal soup Great herbal soup and side dishes! Special mention goes to the black chicken soup, for the really nice layered herbal flavour and the Cai Po Omelette, not too salty with amazing fluffiness.

Might be my fav herbal soup restaurant Might just be my favourite herbal soup restaurant ever. Had the collagen fish maw soup and black chicken soup which were both so tasty and had high quality ingredients. Zichar side dishes like the caipo omelette and tofu were delicious too

comforting and nourishing soup comforting and nourishing soup! tried their ginseng black chicken soup and cordyceps flower kampong chicken soup — they were very generous with the ingredients and the soup was very rich and delicious, you will not feel thirsty after your meal. we also had their handmade fresh prawn roll and signature jade tofu — both were well paired with sauces that elevates the taste profile of the dish. lastly, we had their homemade ginseng chrysanthemum, the ginseng was light and not overpowering, perfect for the hot weather! overall, a very pleasant experience here!

Yummy Korean Cuisine The set lunch set: thinly sliced brisket soybean jjigae bansang comes with starters, rice and traditional Korean sides such as kimchi, seasoned squid. The soybean broth is so flavourful, rich umami taste and brewed to perfection. Not to mention the starters which are so yummy and addictive. Also tried the jinju cold buckwheat noodles. The noodles are so chewy and the garnish that came with it gives a well balanced and refreshing taste that will make you keep coming for more.

Good ambience and nice food Very comfortable shop with good food. Pork and beef are good, especially this cheese potato jeon is a must.

Vibe The House Chungdam = Korean BBQ but make it classy. Super chill vibes with minimalist decor, no smoke, no chaos. Perfect for date night or catching up with friends without smelling like BBQ after. Fresh, high-quality meat and grilled to perfection for you. Every bite was juicy. Clean, calm, and delicious. Would totally go back.

Hae! Homemade Ngoh Hiang (Ranging from $0.80 to $3) Savoury, umami-packed fritters that pair perfectly with prawn noodles. Fried to a crisp with clean-tasting oil, each bite delivers a crunchy exterior and tender interior. The special homemade sauce stood out with its sweet, mildly spicy, and tanginess. Hard to pin down, but it reminded us of a cross between Thai sweet chilli and Tom Yum. Rather unique, but we loved it.

Prawn Noodle (Dry/Soup) ($6.90) A simple yet fulfilling bowl featuring noodles, small prawns, crispy pork lard, fragrant shallots, and sliced pork. We went with the soup version and we loved it. The improved broth is the key, delivering a rich, prawny umami depth with noticeably more character than what we had previously at the first outlet. The peeled prawns were sweet and briny, with a tastisfying tomalley richness still in the head, just waiting for you to suck it clean.

Mixed Organ Prawn Noodle (Dry/Soup) ($9.90) A new creation featuring two small peeled prawns alongside pig liver, heart, skin, sliced pork, tongue, and intestine. We had the dry version with silky kway teow and no chilli. Notably, the kway teow here is thinner than what we had at the first outlet. It’s the type usually used in kway teow thng, but somehow, it still works. While the chew factor was less shiok, the slurp factor shot through the roof with each strand coated beautifully in savoury sauce. The offals were thoroughly clean, smooth, and tender with no funky taste. Comes with a bowl of soup to round things out.

Amazing Steakhouse at CBD Had a really pleasant dinner at Meadesmoore. My partner & i ordered the bone marrow, it was my first time trying it & it definitely did not disappoint. It was packed with flavours & the bread and rice krispies added a nice crunch. We also ordered the mac n cheese & its definitely a must try. It was creamy and the sides had a nice charred crispiness. Lastly, we ordered the steak & it was the cherry on top. The sauces paired with the steak definitely elevated its taste. We ended the meal with tiramisu, the alcohol taste was not overpowering and it was so creamy. Would definitely recommend to go there, its perfect for all occasions.

Yummy Dessert Pavlova Flotante. Flavour of yuzu and strawberry was a wonderful combination of sweet and sour! I love the crunchy shell that added a nice texture and the meringue was creamy and delicious!

Best Steak eaten Such a cozy place for a steakhouse! The wagyu striploin was the highlight of the night! Highly recommend!

Great Pizza and drinks They have some interesting drinks and pizza flavours. Highly recommend the carbonara pizza! Will totally return to eat again just for the carbonara pizza.

Fivesome with Honey ($27) When four cheeses aren’t enough to show your love for cheese, this five-cheese sourdough pizza steps in. Generously topped with mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, blue cheese, and burrata, it's finished with a drizzle of honey to balance the bold, savoury, cheesy tang. While the blue cheese might look off-putting to some, its flavour is surprisingly mild compared to others I've tried. That said, it may still not be suitable for those who aren’t fond of blue cheese. Yeah... It smells.

Bestside Breakfast ($22) Rise up to this hearty breakfast pizza, served from noon. It’s not about the time, it’s about that first tastisfying bite of the day. A savoury-rich sourdough pizza base is brushed with slightly sweet and tangy house-made tomato sauce, layered with melty mozzarella and cheddar. Topped with fresh spinach, smoky, crisp bacon, and a silky, wobbly onsen egg, it’s comfort food at its finest.

Yangzhou Fried Rice A highlight of the meal. Wok hei and perfect grains.

Pork Belly with Garlic Sauce Still so good. The pork was incredible. But overall too salty.

生煎包 The fiancee warned me theirs aren't good. It turned out worse. The bread was lame and the filling was bland. Never again.

While they’re best known for their prawn noodles, the entire menu reflects a deep respect for local flavours—and a willingness to push them further. The seafood is unquestionably fresh, from the plump prawns and clams to the handmade prawn balls and fish slices. What really sets their dishes apart is the bold, smoky broth that forms the base of many items—rich, complex, and clearly the product of hours of careful simmering. It’s the kind of umami bomb that makes you stop mid-conversation just to savour the moment. A must-visit for anyone who loves Singaporean seafood, especially those who appreciate a chef-driven approach to hawker classics.

Exquisite Seafood Dishes The location was slightly inaccessible but worth the trip. Ambience was nice and cozy, slightly dim lights, and very polite staff. The food were served surprisingly fast. Their Live Australian Lobster Poached Rice was absolutely amazing. The lobster was fresh and succulent, and the soup was so umami! Worth the trip down.

Date Night @ One Prawn and Co Had a great experience at One Prawn & Co. The ambience was nice, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had the Prawn Toast and Holy Haddock Fish Burger, both were delicious, especially the prawn toast which was crisp and flavorful. The seaweed butter and honey toast was good, though not exceptional. The highlight was the lobster poached rice!! Succulent lobster, not overcooked, with a rich, umami broth that tied everything together beautifully. Overall, an amazing meal. Highly recommended, especially for date night!

What’s this? I couldn’t figure out what’s the centre part about - rather confusing taste. I would not order this again.

Decent Chinese buffet dishes! [CHINATOWN, SINGAPORE] @shuyanrestaurant is conveniently located on level 1 of Chinatown Point, offering Chinese dishes with an ala carte buffet concept! At $29.90 per adult, you get to order a variety of meat, seafood and carbs. Our favourite had to be the Garlic Vermicelli Prawn Balls with its strong garlic umami and snappy fresh prawns! Dishes like their Fried Chicken with Dried Chilli aka La Zi Ji were great as well, with the chicken pieces being slightly bigger and still really crunchy! However, admittedly there were some dishes that were misses as well, like the Fried Rice with Eggs which could have been more flavourful. Overall, the experience is still decent and may be worth it with a large group of big eaters. The dishes served are of full sizes so a larger group will mean that you can try more dishes! SICHUAN BUFFET FROM $19.90?? a wide variety of dishes to choose from - chicken, beef, pork, prawns, veges, desserts!! so u rly can have ur pick hehe our fav dishes were: la zi ji (the spicy fried chicken) - vv crispy and the la (spice) is also v fragrant and addictive!! not for the weak so dun worry the spice is rly there HAHA had to soothe my tongue with peanuts the prawn w vermicelli noodles - noodles were well seasoned, vvv chewy also the fried dessert with sugar inside - v crispy outside and the fillings were oozing out! Careful hot tho HAHA Their drinks got offer too - 2nd one at 50% off Vv conveniently located inside chinatown point (chinatown mrt) so can try it if u r in the area!!

Shu Yan Would you try this all-you-can-eat Sichuan buffet? For bold, punchy Sichuan flavours, Shu Yan’s all you can eat à la carte buffet is a strong option. At $29.90++ per adult, it offers good variety and solid flavour at a decent price point. Start with the Chili Shrimp Balls and Garlic Vermicelli Prawn Balls. Both arrive hot and garlicky, with juicy shrimp. The Boiled Fish Fillet in Chili Oil is a standout. Spicy, numbing, and full of aroma. The Stewed Fish Fillet with Pickled Vegetables adds a satisfying tang to the meal. Meat dishes like Sichuan Boiled Beef and Twice Cooked Pork are loaded with heat and savoury depth. The Fried Chicken with Dried Chili brings crunch and spice. Kung Po Chicken and Lemongrass Chicken offer familiar flavours with a twist. Mapo Tofu, Fried French Beans, and Shredded Cabbage with Pork bring that home-style comfort. Fried Rice with Egg and Fried Noodles are reliable fillers between bites of spice. Finish with chilled Ice Jelly or Glutinous Rice Cake with Brown Sugar for a sweet end. Buffet is limited to 120 minutes, with a minimum of 2 diners per table. Portions are generous, and dishes arrive fast, making this a satisfying option for those who enjoy Sichuan cuisine.

Good Food, Amazing Service The prawns in the pasta were very fresh & the pizza tasted good!! We got the Hawaii-Not and Prawn Aglio Olio Pasta. I especially liked their drinks 🥤 Will definitely be back because of the good service && food! The staff / head of house at the Millenia Walk outlet was really nice & checked in throughout the meal to ensure everything was alright. He also gave us recommendations on what to order. Overall, great experience~

Awesome Pizza! The Hawaii-Not was really delicious with sweet and creamy notes, evident from the generous portions of red onions, ham and pineapple chutney. The Linguini Aglio Olio with Prawns was really tasty, the linguin was al-dente, doused with garlic and fresh succulent prawns. Ending off the meal was a perfect cheesecake paired with a sweet strawberry and a douse of cream. Hearty meal! Lest I forget, the service was immaculate to say the least, the staff was professional and helpful in recommending their signatures and the serving of the food was really expeditious. Would recommend!

One of the best ice-cream in SG Bought the Summer Berries and Sesame Mochi. Thick and creamy, flavours are natural and unique as well. Summer Berries have the perfect mix of sweetness and sourness. Fast-service and cosy interior as well!

Dinner Food was very good and service was 10/10. The crab and seafood pasta was excellent and the flat iron steak was juicy.

Cosy dinner spot with great service Visited Market Bistro for a weekday dinner date with my partner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service! I was quite impressed by how quickly they were able to serve our dishes - think it only took them 10 minutes or so to dish out our appetizer. The staff who took our order was also very attentive to us, offering recommendations to us and constantly topping up our water when we were close to finishing our drink. For the food, the Burrata had to be my favorite. I loved the balsamic caviar that topped the cheese, giving the starter a good balance of creamy and tangy flavour profiles. My duck confit was yummy too, with its skin crispy and flavourful. The meat was tender, and they gave a lot of mushrooms as a side too. We ended our meal with Tiramisu for dessert, and again they were very generous with the coffee liqueur, such that you could see the coffee oozing out of the dessert each time you cut into it to take a bite. Overall I really enjoyed the dinner at Market Bistro and would drop by again if I am nearby for a meal :)

Value for Money Casual Dining Had dinner with my partner on a Tuesday night. Service was really efficient, our food arrived in under 10 minutes after ordering. I had the ribeye, which was nicely seasoned and came with generous portions of sides. Everything was well-cooked and satisfying, especially considering the reasonable prices. Was really full after this too My partner had the duck confit. The duck was tender and cooked well. it was also served over a silky mashed potato with a creamy sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Verdict: A cosy and comfortable bistro offering well prepared dishes at good value. Ideal for casual get-togethers or a laid back meal. Worth a visit if you are around the area.
