Lu Rou Dry Noodle Shaxian has interesting cuisine. They seem to love dry noodles. Here the meat was ordinary, but I loved the la mian.

Golden Soup Wantons Shaxian has interesting cuisine. For example, they eat a lot of 馄饨, which is smaller than 饺子. The filling is fish paste. They're not bad, but the soup was terrible. We should've ordered the bone broth.

Beef Sauerkraut Soup Rice Noodle Shaxian has interesting cuisine. But this dish isn't very differentiated from rest of China. Also, the meat and soup weren't great. Probably a wrong order.

The crispy cheong fun I think this is the only thing worth coming to this eatery for. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our meal there + they almost didn't allow us to use our Beyond deal! Not a place that we enjoyed nor would return to next time.

Ground Pot Chicken Coming to this place definitely must try some of the signature Jiangsu dishes like this one. Originates from the Jiangsu with the handmade flour cakes that you can see from the top of the chicken meats. This flour cake don’t have much taste on its own, which you need to dip it with the sauce of the chicken pot to get the flavour. It is actually soft and chewy texture, go well with the chicken.

Guacamole Maki- $6.90++ Can choose brown or white rice but both is sticky & doesn't have much difference. Avocado very creamy, so unique with tortilla chip on top & pairs well with the tomato salsa too

Angelica Roast Duck Our go to place whenever we crave Angelica Roast Duck. The other dish we like is Thai Lemon Fried Baby Kailan. But this price is getting more and more expensive every year. Maybe that’s why the place is no longer as crowded as before. I can’t even remember when was the last time I had to queue to get a table at meal times.

Fish Maw Soup (diners Set For 4) One of the better Fish Maw soups ive had, this gooey mix had enough umami and amazing variation in texture from the Small bits of seafood mixed in

Quarter Duck (diners Set For 4) Good as always, with a little crisp on the skin. Portion is a little Small for 4 though, each person gets only 3 or 4 pieces

Herbal Duck! Awesome dinner with #dianxiaoer! Miss the herbal duck! But i still prefer the jb ya wang herbal duck! Making do with dianxiaoer during this shutdown! The fish is recommended too!

Family Favourites A few of the family favourite dishes that's always ordered: Marmite chicken, Herbal roasted duck, Nai Bai in egg white broth and my personal favourite, the stir-fried seafood bee hoon (fried with lots of wok-hei 🙌🏻😌).

Sunday Family Dinner Roasted duck, Marmite chicken, Chinese spinach and Ee-fu mian: the typical dishes my family always orders. Never fails to disappoint. ☺️
