I must admit. Before today, baguette and croissants for me are some of the few foods in this lovely world im not excited to engage with. I find my experience with them tough, dull and almost no love at all. We simply dont click. ✌️😣✌️. But comes eric kayser to the rescue.. And i know that this love-hate relationship with french bread has a chance afterall.. Each bite with their croissant, each fold of it that you munch... Just heaven. Their chocolate cookies?? Pan Roasted Salmon by The Hungry Hound. The new kid in town, just opened last august. Finally got the chance to hit the place by making it my first meal on my birthday. Salmon meat is a very fine meal when cooked right. Happy camper on that day. The aroma and taste of tomato compliments the freshness and well preserved thickness of the salmon. I just wished the chef could have thrown a little bit more of poached veggies pa. No rice folks, but you'll be suprised being okay with it. But anyway, still something i'll visit again. Perfect match with their juices. Mind you, their fresh fruit juices are the real deal - freshly squeezed and worth the price. Hmmm.. I finally tasted the newest butter that Manila pips gone gaga for it. I appreciated how thick it was. Smell was just fine. Plain flavor and I'll give to it's taste that it has some difference between what we produce here locally in the Phil. But I find some stories about it overrated. Not really fan of peanut butter and buying this was a little bit of a gamble. And it paid off. Thanks @bayhenyhen for the suggestion. Nice smell butter, it would be a sin not to pair with a decent bread. Curious what would be the effect if use this in baking. But so far i guess really I have satisfied taste bud. 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟.. Yasai Itame by Omakase. A little bit more of seafood or meat (we find mostly cut end parts of squid) and cabbage would make it better. 3 out 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟 Served warm enough though, veggies cooked very well - literally crunchy flakes. But i find Tokyo-tokyo itame's more appealing and tasty (though consistency in their branches varies).

Classic teriyaki sauce complimenting the tender chicken meat. Usually, japanese foods tend to be time consuming to prepare and quite laborious..but as a traditional donburi I think this could be my next project. 😊. Served with hot white rice. I think I could try adding steamed veggies here.. Perhaps brocolli to balanced the taste.
