The only reason I would go back is this. I liked that the sticky date pudding is served warm with caramel sauce and ice cream. The pudding on its own is very fragrant already, I can finish a bigger piece.
The texture of noodle is good but it’s again way too salty to even finish. Too bad.
Most of the dishes are too salty for my tastebuds. However I must say the fry scallop has a wok hei which I really liked.
The start of my 4-course lunch set. Plating and colours are beautiful, I wished it taste as good too. 😌
So this is the king prawn my friend ordered. It was cooked in a Thai liked sauce. Pretty appetizing but okay... won’t order again.
This is pretty standard... nothing to shout about.
I was so glad I chose this for my main because it’s so good! You do not have to use knife at all and the meat was infused with the marinations that is so flavorful. But I wished it was less sweet for my tastebud. 8.5/10!
[EDIT] After posting, I saw other reviews and realized my portion is the smallest! Was I shortchanged? Tsk. 😡
This is the Hokkaido scallop in adobo butter. I love how it was perfectly cooked and that sauce that goes along it. So much umami!
It is bland and texture of tofu is horrible. I’ve never tasted any pidan tofu like this before. I’ll not recommend you to order this dish at this place.
The pork is tender and amount of spice is perfect for me. I always love to mix the onsen egg to make the meat extra smooth. This is my go-to kurabuta don place when I’ve craving but I’m surprised there’s always no queue. Good news to me though. 👍🏾
This plate of sushi is part of the tempura lunch set. They are so fresh and sweet but it’s too much for me, I could have it with less rice 😁.
$68 for this set is so worth it!
I went with the tempura lunch set which started off with a salad. Tempura batter is ok however the ingredients are really fresh. The set lunch cost $68++.
