My favourite dish out of the entire meal would be the Black Bean Noodle. It was my first Jajangmyeon, so I was really anticipating it and the taste did not disappoint me at all. Besides that, I had the Strong Spicy Cream Topokki, or shall I say, supposedly "strong spicy". The dish was not spicy at all. It did have the regular topokki taste –similar to Rolling Topokki which my companion ordered hence the comparison, but I had high expectations when they mention spicy. Anyways, moving on to the next dish, we ordered the Bulgogi baby roll, the tasty beef filling made up for the average sushi rolls. All in all, it was a satisfying dining experience. I'd go for a 2.5/5 verdict. Of course I'd come back and try other dishes on the menu, not forgetting the Black Bean Noodles.
Had my afternoon tea time here as I did my work. Had the salted egg donut which is a decent size– not too big nor small. The icing sugar atop the donut goes very well with the yolk filling inside. I would recommend it to be eaten while it's hot, letting the yolk filling flow out nicely when the donut is cut open since I did not eat it immediately upon served. Like mentioned earlier, the sweet icing goes very well with the savoury filling, so if anyone is craving for a sweet savoury, the Egg Yolk donut might just be it. The staff were very friendly and were cool with me charging my laptop using my plug. I had relaxing afternoon there and the area is very quite too, for a Sunday afternoon👍
I ordered the Ferrero Rocher toast and a companion of mine had the Cookies & Cream toast. We waited for more than 20 minutes for our order to arrive. Yet, as we were waiting, the lady I approached was very polite when explaining that they had limited machines to make our order hence the waiting time. The toast was very crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, not only is it thick, but it's really buttery too. Maybe a little too buttery for those who aren't a fan of butter– like me. I would recommend to share the toast with another person as I couldn't finish it, despite my love for desserts. All in all, the toast was worth the travel for me.
