Take in the view as you fill up on the Htapothi Sti Skhara ($30), a lightly seasoned grilled octopus dish. Also good is the super tender slow-roasted Lamb Kleftiko ($36) served with roasted potatoes. Have you try a Greek Moussaka before? . Moussaka聽is a dish originating from Greece. It is an聽eggplant - (aubergine) or potato-based dish. It often contains ground meat. It may be served hot or cold. It feels like lasagne. . Featuring the Greek Moussaka from @zorbatavernasg Baked Layers of zucchini, potato, eggplant, minced beef topped with bechamel sauce. The various layers of textures complement each other so well. Very addictive. The cherry tomatoes are a great match as it gives a refreshing touch to the dish. The minced beef is very flavorful too. . Zorba the Greek Taverna which is located along the waterfront of Singapore River in Clarke Quay. A cozy intimate dining place by the river. Lamb Kleftiko $36 Our meal was redeemed somewhat from the lacklustre starters by this baby-soft slow-roasted lamb served with moreish roasted potatoes. Greek food is wholesome and unpretentious, and this nailed it. << Invited tasting >> Taste: 3/5

Are you Team Dum Biryani or Team Mandi Biryani (Arabic version)? If it鈥檚 up to me to choose, I will say to go for both of them! The Chicken Dum Biryani ($6.50) is the version that we are all familiar with, in which the marinated chicken is cooked together with the basmati rice while the Chicken Mandi Biryani ($6.50) is not commonly seen elsewhere. What makes the mandi unique is that the rice is cooked in a mandi spice mixture and separate from the chicken. Upon each order, the chicken is then blow-torched to give it a smoky aroma and charred flavour. Just the appearance and colour alone is able to distinguish both biryanis and each is served with a different condiment. The mandi comes with a side of yogurt and green chilli chutney, the latter very similar to the Thai green chilli sauce, while the dum briyani comes with a dhal and a chutney that I suspect is made from plums. Overall, an excellent go-to for biryanis which you will surely feel satisfied and fulfilled at the end of the meal. 鈥⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩⑩ 馃搷Caf茅 Mariam 116 Changi Road, Unit 01-02, Singapore 419718
Mandhi Briyani This massive platter with chicken and mutton fed 5 of us comfortably and we could not stop digging in! The long grained rice was tasty and full of flavour, but not at all oily, and the tender meat had been torched to give it that lovely smokey flavour. Am usually not a fan of mutton but in this case, the mutton was very well cooked and not too Camry. We also had a separate serving of chicken dum briyani and it was very very good as well. Huge fan of this. Go early since there is little seating!
Smoky and Fragrant Nasi Briyani in the East There is Chicken Dum Briyani, Mutton Briyani and the Arab-style Mandi Briyani (price depends on size) on the menu. Read more:聽https://www.misstamchiak.com/cafe-mariam-nasi-biryani/

Peanut Butter Fudge 4+(svc When Dining In) Yes it does Melt even when u just hold it in your hands, but that's all the redeeming points. Not sweet at all, and the peanut taste is almost non-existent, just taste the oiliness of the "butter". Neither was the dark chocolate very enticing. They were balanced but not in the good way, felt like one flavour shld have taken a back seat. Maybe a little mean to put this into this category, but honestly im not a Fan of gluten free food in the first place
For Nutrient-packed Bowls in Telok Ayer On the corner of Stanley Street is a cosy 40-seater bistro that serves up hearty veggie bowls that are far from bland or boring. Fill your tummy with their massive Vegan Sweet Potato and Chickpea Bowl ($19) composed of beetroot hummus, quinoa, tahini and tofu-avocado mix. If you're dining with a meat eater, they can still eat clean (it's carb-and-gluten-free) with their Zoodle Bolognaise ($18) which stars zucchini noodles buried under the deliciously chunky bolognaise sauce. Mix & Match 鈥淐lean鈥 Eating If you鈥檙e looking for trustworthy cafes who ensure their beef is GrassFed, or eggs are from free-range chickens in the CBD, this is the place to go. Personally, I prefer to custom order what I want. So here I have 2 servings of their GrassFed Beef and 2 servings of the eggs (2 eggs each). Also, requested for some butter at the side, which they obliged without extra charge 馃憤馃徏 I chose to have my eggs done Sunny Side-up. My next favourite way of eggs. I鈥檇 love if they are able to do poached eggs in future!

Really One Of The Best Burgers I've Eaten! Still one of the places with the best burgers - although the waiting time was unusually long that day, our patience paid off as we were greeted by this wonderful Cheese and Whiskers ($18.90 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond). The brioche bun had the satisfying crispy exterior, the thick cheese layer although not stringy, had the deep salty milky taste and the patty was so tender. The sauce in the burger wonderfully completed the experience! The fries are worth a mention; so satisfying crispy and fluffy even when it's cold!
Classic Beef ($13.90) Really juicy beef patty complemented by the delectable onion jam. An instant midday mood-lifter :) I ordered directly at the shop and managed to get my food within 20 min, which is quite fast considering the number of orders they probably get through food delivery apps!!
Bloody Solid Burgers, Can鈥檛 Believe I Didn鈥檛 Try This Place Earlier Working Title has been on my radar for quite some time but I don鈥檛 know why I never bothered trying their burgers before, and I鈥檓 pretty damn pissed with myself for not trying them earlier. Finally got the push I needed to head down and get my hands on one of these masterpieces because I saw that they were on Burpple Beyond and let me tell you this, if I try something on Burpple Beyond and after that say that I would pay full price for it, you know this shit be banging. Was skeptical about the duck burger but decided to YOLO and give it a go and hot damn it was a good YOLO. Idk what they did with the duck but the marinade was on point and it was wedged between two ultra crisp and fragrant charcoal buns that didn鈥檛 lose their texture even after I spent a solid 15 minutes snapping photos of my food (what a insta hoe I am). The fries just sealed the damn deal for me. They were THICCCCC and outrageously crispy yet the potato insides were oh-so-soft and fluffy, UGH. Will be back. I miss their burgers already.

Spiedino (Hokkaido Scallop, Salmon, Salsa Verde, Lemon) [$23++] I quite like this. I am not good at describing seafood, but I do like the well-balanced textures of the meal. The salmon skin was toasty and delicious. The scallops tasted rather fresh to me. The lemon made the leafy greens refreshing to eat, albeit a bit oily. Overall a pretty satisfying meal for me :)
When You Fancy A Mediterranean Meal At Home, The Takeaway Menu From Here Is Worth Trying. T R E A T Recently, the kind folks from The CICHETI Group, with the help of their PR @bydanieleng, arranged to have lunch sent to me from their latest-to-open establishment, Caffe Cicheti. As I had been there a few months ago for a hosted tasting, I was familiar with the menu and knew what I wanted to have again. Ranked at the top was the Brussels Sprouts coated in pomegranate molasses and tossed with candied pecans ($12). The moreish creation didn鈥檛 disappoint - remaining smoky, sweetish and crunchy after the journeying from the restaurant. What surprised was the Marinated Iberico Pork Rack ($31.50) which I found to be even tastier than the last time. The subtly smoky, juicy meat hit the bullseye between tenderness and enjoyable chew. Served on the side, a refreshing Kale and Granny Smith Salad that helped with cut-through. The Lasagne ($27) was a big and heavy block of pasta sheets layered with plenty of chunky beef cheek ragu, cheese, bechamel and tomato sauce. Naturally, it had cooled and hardened slightly by the time I took it out of the box. But that was nothing a couple of minutes in the oven couldn鈥檛 fix. Once heated up, the #Lasagne softened and became really tasty. Owner-Sommelier @ronaldkamiyama had included a lovely bottle of 2015 Rioja for us to pair with the food too, complete with tasting notes since he couldn鈥檛 present the Spanish wine in person. Very smooth move, I must say. The 鈥淐rack Pie鈥 ($11) was the selected dessert and it pleased in terms of size and a none-too-sweet taste. Coming together were almond frangipane, a cookie base and cocoa crumble. Worth every calorie it was. Just so you know CICHETI and @bydanieleng have made total dining pleasure their priority, they even have a @caffecicheti playlist as well, curated by the one and only @trustmrhas. To place your food orders, please click on the link in @caffecicheti鈥檚 bio on Instagram.
Salt Overloaded Salt Overloaded!!!!!!!! Cacio E Pepe (S$24++) Available at @caffecicheti in @southbeachavenuesg The pasta was way too salty and I could not take in anymore after a couple of mouthful. The staff took it away after I told him the reason. He asked if I wanted another dish which I replied Grilled Cheese (S$19++). The latter dish was much better. But I was shocked when I was billed in full for both dishes. Why should I be billed for full especially for the first dish? The staff replied that the dish was served, that鈥檚 why. The staff replied that he would talk to the manager and returned with a slightly discount for the first dish which now billed for S$16++. I paid for the meal unhappily as too much time had wasted. By the way the bill was taking forever to come. Bad Experience!
