Striploin Donburi ($23.90) Overall: 7/10
Miam miam's beef donburi has its highs and lows. The beef was seasoned well and really tender. Despite not having a good sear/crust, it still stood out and I enjoyed it. Together with the rice, onsen egg and pickles, this was a satisfying bowl with a portion that was just right.
The price, however, is definitely steep for this bowl. At $23.90 and for the cut of meat, the price is definitely steep for this bowl. Competitors do edge this one out, and perhaps a lunch set could fix this issue. I might come down to have this once in a while, but it would be a tough sell despite nailing the beef.
