This place never disappoints us. Obba is the only bbq place that serves their famous flying fish roe rice ball with their bbq meats. Their bbq sets are value for money as each includes your selected meats and one soup or stew dish for sharing. It may not sound like much but don't forget abt their generous side dishes. Guaranteed you will be so stuffed by the time you walk out of Obba. P.S: their spicy soft tofu stew is a must-try on rainy days

We decided to drop by after seeing so many posts abt this place on Instagram. First of all, this cafe is really for serious coffee drinkers. It has more than 10 pages of Coffee List for us to choose from. We found our fave Ponte Vecchio coffee blend, you can taste the tinge of orange in it and is so heavenly with a scoop of the Chantilly cream. Bacha's range of croissants pairs perfectly well with its coffee. The best ones we feel so far are their pistachio, kaya and raspberry croissants. Their tiramisu is also a hit, packed with coffee jelly and hints of mandarin peel in a jar.

This fried chicken with waffles and watermelon combo is so unforgettable!
We were surprised with the unexpected pairing of the watermelon with fried chicken that was so tasty! To top it off, Yardbird's brunch comes with delicious bottomless mimosas on weekends!

Since we can't travel to Osaka, then let Seiwa bring Osaka to us!
I like the batter and the generous mix of ingredients that went into it. We tried the pork okonomiyaki and it was light enough and a good balance to pair off with our Suntory.

So many dishes that are highly recommended. We were spoilt for choices. My personal favourites are the fried kangkong, tom yum goong and creamy butter chicken! Worth a trip to Bishan heartland!

Finally got to try this main signature from Southwest Tavern. Chicken was still sooooo tender and juicy, skin was even crispy even though it took the kitchen an hour to cook this. We had to pre order before we arrive. No one can resist chicken anyway!

The meats spread are plenty! We only ordered beef and pork for 3 pax but it was a big serving for us to manage. Have to admit, barbecued meats are sweeter on charcoal grill! We love it but they can do better with a bigger floor area to fit more tables.

Found this place by chance, thanks to Burpple so went to try it today. Its offically one of my fave dim sum places! Must-try includes the xiao long bao, har gao, yam cake and even the siew mai! Planning a come back already..!

Our only intention was to try out tteokgalbi on the island and we finally had our first at Bornga after talking and planning about it for so long. Truth be told, Bornga has THE BEST tteokgalbi and haemul pajeon! Now I can understand the price rationale behind these dishes. Worth every single penny spent on these two. I can't wait to go back again for another round of tteokgalbi. Serious shit here. Not kidding. Definitely beats away my season finale GOT blues.

The salted egg chicken wings are really awesome! This comes with a set of sweet potato fries and sour plum juice. Definitely not disappointing. Price is reasonable too. Will definitely come by again to try other delicious treats.

This is a new cafe which we chanced upon and we were informed that they just opened few months ago. They have a selection of All-day brunch menu. We tried their Eggs Benedict with Poached Salmon and buffalo wings. Their wings are amazing!! Super delicious and finger licking good! Prices are reasonable for 2, less than $45 for 2. The ambience is nice and cosy with retro deco if you are looking for a peaceful dinner date.

We tried their lunch special sets that comes with free coffee and daily desserts. Quite a decent fare with the appropriate lunch proportions. The tiramisu is pretty good.
