Meadesmoore Came during dinner and was greated with super warm and welcoming staff. Had the oysters, steak and lamb which were cooked to perfection. Ended off with a desert and feeling satisfied! :)
Sushi Muni Came on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and was welcomed by friendly staff. Chef Choon carefully explained each dish and everything was so delicious. My favourite is definately the uni handroll. It was sweet, creamy and just amazing with the rice. Would 100% recommend people to head over and try. Their prices are very reasonable as well!
Seng House Had the fried squid tentacles and the fish and chips and it was amazing and fried to perfection. The seasoning was on point and the fish was made better woth the malt vinegar spray. Staff is friendly and helpful with recommending their dishes.
Ingleside Ingleside is really a culinary haven for those who are really into the art of dry aging and fermentation. The picanha was insanely tender and juicy and the woodfire made it so smokey. The sourdough bread with spilt pea butter was a super good start to the meal as well. Overall, truely recommend people who want to try something new to head down and give Ingleside a shot!
Market Bistro Saw this place while walking through mbfc and was quite excited to try when i saw the menu. Had the squid fritters, duck confit and flat iron steak when i was there. The squid fritters was fried to perfection and the duck confit was tender and paired really well with the mushroom and mash. The dish that is worth mentioning is the flat iron steak as it is not common to see restaurants serving that cut. It was lean but super tender. Ended off with the tiramisu and was surprise at how delicious the tiramisu was. Would definately come back again!
One Prawn & Co Was recommended by a friend to visit this place and oh my days it was one of the best decision i made. Was greeted by a warm welcome and seated at the bar top table. Had the love letter, prawn toast, sourdough bread and the kingfish to start. Everything was insanely good and the kingfish really stand out for me. It was smoked to perfection and with just the right amount of salt and sauce to accompany it. Had to add on the carrot cake as it was recommended by the staff and it was amazing. It has a very unique twist and the spot prawns that came with it was so fresh and sweet. Ended off the meal with the smoked ice cream and kaya cream and the first mouth of it blew my mind away. Dont usually enjoy sweet stuff but i demolished the ice cream. It was smoky and not too sweet. The kaya cream added a lovely touch and never really expected to be served kaya with ice cream. Overall, it was a super good experience and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend everyone to really head down and try the food yourself!
Gu Zao Ren Had the sweet potato porridge, sliced fish with ginger, pork chop and mix veg and it was amazing. The dish that i really recommend is the pork chop. Fried to perfection and the tomato sauce that comes with it was tangy and savoury. Would recommend for people to come try it out!
Zhup zhup First time trying Zhup Zhup and it really did not disappoint. Got the prawn noodle dry and the ngoh hiang platter and it really was insane with the chilli as well. The thing that stands out to me most is the soup that they served. Rich, flavourful and umami which makes me feel like drinking more and more. Portion wise is very generous as well. Will really recommend people to head down and try it!
