I love engawa! This spicy salmon engawa mini bowl from Genki is appetising and my comfort food. The engawa's done chewy and bit smoke salty which goes well with the sushi rice. Love!
A bowl of fatty ribs with rice at $7. I prefer white pepper soup so this stall is like my family preferred stall for 3 decades plus.
I feedback once the portions greatly reduced couple years back and now there's improvement.
Sometimes I will have 1 more bowl of kidney. Humble stall which feels at home
Ate their apple strudels for past 2 decades and trying the mango strudel for the first time. I ordered a full strudel for $29.50. Still prefer the apple one but this is desserty enough and not too sweet. Like
Not to have hotpot this time but some spicy dishes for a cold evening. Ordered 辣子鸡, 酸辣粉 and some 串烧skewer sticks of a few meats and quail eggs.
Totals less than $50 for 2 of us. The 辣子鸡 is about $14 and quite salty.
Got a box of 10pcs mix bean paste and peanut ang ku kueh for less than $10.
The skin is soft but bit thick for me. Bean paste not too sweet though and has slight sweet-bitter taste after-eat.
All servings are priced at $6 per person serving. The soup is thick and foods very well-'soaked' and tasty. The kway is too big bowl for me though, nonetheless worth the queue.
Tried avocado latte for the first time at this new petite bright cafe at 313 Somerset. It's thick and heavy yet refreshing. Chill..
Waited 10minutes for this plate of $20+ seafood spaghetti. It's flavourful and the cream sauce is not too gelat, seafoods fresh too. Like
This appetising Acai cup is called 'Triple A' with almond butter. Price is $6.70. Portion works just nice for me and realise combi with almond butter is yummy!
