I’m wondering if this will be the mother of all naan only at @naanlounge in Shah Alam. The first thing that came was the Mango lassi that made me smile, then the butter chicken for the side ... felt it was too sweet but I was wrong, it paired really well with the dhall curry. Then came my Cheesy Cheese Naan, I was a bit crush because it looked a bit smaller than the usual naan I was used too, but OMG it’s true what they say the best things come in small packages. Don’t let it fool you, I could not finish mine, but I was smiling like a greedy fool by the time I was done. I went through a food coma smiling on cloud 9. I was truly surprised to find this place and elated that there is a stretch of new restaurants there. Jinjja Chicken does not disappoint, amidst the very crispy and savoury yet sweet fried chicken there are also other options to feast on if succulent chicken is not your thing. They have Korean noodles and burgers with kimbap to name a few. So you will be spoilt for choice. Caution though the servings are huge, so do come with a group. Was recently at mid valley mall and was surprised that they had opened a new food alley. Jinjja Chicken was among the new tenants there. The Korean fried chicken was crispy with good soy garlic sauce and the yangnyeom sauce did not disappoint. Love it. Yummms 👍👍👍💖😝

Decided to do a walkabout near Masjid Jamek and was massively surprise at the many hidden treasure there. One of it was this newly improved old school kopitiam that serves the usual roti bakar, Mee rojak sotong, Hainanese chicken chop, Chee Chong fun etc. The food did not disappoint, shown here is the Nasi Lemak Ayam, the rice was nicely fragrant and soft and the Ayam goreng berempah made it memorable. The place really brings you back to days when things were simpler. ☺️

The offerings are simple and one would say typical when you go to an Indonesian restaurant but i must say, though simple if cooked well they just made my day. Seen here are Santai Panggang and my personal favourite Santai lele. The sambal came in three different flavours and its spice level won’t make you faint.
