Simple food that satisfied the stomach. Good place to chill and relax.

Ordered the steak by L'entrecote at Glasshouse. When I entered the indoor part of the place at level 2, I was greeted with a face that can bring about the hurricanes to Orchard Road and led to my table. The waiter must either be having a bad day or has a locked jaw as she barely talked to us.
Thankfully our server fr the night was friendly enough to explain to us the T&C of our burpple 1 for 1 deal. Sadly her service was the only bright spark of the meal as the medium rare steak that I ordered was gamey, and rather bland which was saved by the sauce that accompanied it. Fries was not bad, crispy. The price does not reflect the quality of the steak, I would rather go to Braseiro over this any time. At least burpple beyond helped to offset what would be a $100 meal for 2 that did not make us happy nor satisfy our stomachs at all.

Item ordered: Furikake mushroom pasta ($12) - super good

Food: 4.5/5 - would’ve preferred it with some spiciness.. hehe too Singaporean
Ambiance: 5/5 - comfortable place to chill with some friends
Service: 4.5/5 - super good service, which the food could’ve been delivered sooner though
Overall experience: 4.5/5

We had the bacon carbonara and a chicken salad. Both dishes were very good. The people were nice too! I would happily make this my new regular haunt.
